San Francisco, California.
7:00am...
In a bright room,
Right in front of the mirror at the left side of the room stood a svelte woman. She was a very beautiful woman and had long dark silky hair. Her eyes, her eyes can never be forgotten by anyone close to her because they were and will always remain the same. The innocence in them was simply something that can never be taken away despite the fact that she has had to face so many hardships.
Emma stood tall infront of the mirror staring at the scar given to her when she was a child. She could and can never forget that day. That day was the worse day of her life. Not only was her mom taken away on that day, her entire childhood was taken away as well.
(Sigh)"Why do I keep thinking about this?"
"Thinking about it repeatedly won't change anything now will it? It will only cause me more pain."
"I need to stop this, I really do." Just then, her cellphone rang....
"Hello!"
"Hey! What's keeping you, why aren't you here yet?!"
"Do you have any idea that an important client will be visiting the office today and I need to get ready but you aren't here or did you forget the fact that you are my secretary and it your duty to carry out tasks given to you by me be it a menial task or anything else for that matter."
"Also, as the next in line to the werewolves, it is your duty to take care of me understood?"
"Good for nothing!" and then the call ended.
(Sigh) Emma breathed out in frustration.
She was really tired of having to deal with this everyday. Maya is her supposedly best friend who for some reason treats her like a slave.
For goodness sake, they were both very good friends when her mom was still alive but ever since her mom's death, she had turned to a slave for both Maya and her mother Lucia who is Emma supposedly Godmother.

"Dude, you're running late."
"Don't you have a meeting to attend to at 8:30?"
"Why are you still here then?" Damian complained.
"Ha! Late? I don't think so. Did you forget my dearest friend?"
"I don't wait for people okay? People wait for me. That is Deven style." Deven said with a smirk.
"Anyways, you're right. I'm already running late so I think it's best I get going, catch you later." Deven picked up all necessary files needed for his meeting and left.

At Louis corporation...
"Where the heck is that good for nothing!"
"She should be here already, I mean the client should be on his way by now but she isn't here yet? What a secretary she is!" Maya spat out is disdain.
.
.
"Gosh I really am late!" Emma thought.
"Maya definitely isn't going to spare me today."Emma said to herself.
"Oh my, what excuse will I give her for being late, she will definitely kill me today!"
Emma was distracted by the thoughts of Maya and her tantrums she didn't take sight of the person who was coming towards her.
And... Boom!
They bumped into each other.
