Humiliated

"Ugh! My morning is completely ruined. Why did I have to bump into such a grumpy man so early in the morning? Emma complained.

"Pick the files" She mimicked making a funny face.

"That man was so rude I mean seriously, how could he speak to a lady like that, is that how a gentleman behaves? Gosh such a rude..."

Emma sentence was cut short as she was met with a slap right across the face the moment she infiltrated the office. The impact of the hit was so hard it made her stumble backwards.

"What took you so long huh? Why are you just arriving? Tell me do you have an explanation for arriving so late, you very well know that your time of arrival is different from that of the others so what made you arrive so late when you should be the first one here?!" Maya questioned vigorously.

"I'm sorry Maya, the thing is..."

"Pak!" She received another blow.

"Don't you dare! Don't you dare address me by my name! You are to address me as boss are we clear?!"

"Yes." Emma whispered.

""Speak up! I want to hear your voice!" demanded Maya.

"Yes boss I understand. It won't happen again." Emma said in a hoarsely voice.

"You don't have to assure me of that because after today's comeuppance, I doubt you would attempt such a blunder again." said Maya spitefully.

"Y-y-yes b-b-boss. I won't slip up ever again. I will n-n-never g-give you a chance to complain about me. I will always be on schedule and will heartily aseent to whatever castigation you deem fit.

"Do you think I'll let you go after today's fumble?

I'm sorry miss but you are concieveably mistaken. You will definitely be penalized and your punishment is to clean up the entire office and take care of everything needed by all employees. You are to sweep and mop the entire Louis corp.That's your penalty and should commence immediately!" Maya adjured and left for her office.

Emma stood still unable to lift her face for she couldn't withstand the piercing gazes of everyone present. She felt so demeaned and devastated that she couldn't face anyone. She was utterly humiliated.

"Such a rude and nacissitic woman. How dare she speak to me that way! Up until now no one has ever been able to defy me let alone speak to me in the tone that she did. She appears to be descent and innocent but the actual fact is that she has a vulgar personality. Disgusting!
