Sports Festival Part 3: Badass

I opened my eyes and got off. Tokoyami was tired so I ran to Momo and asked her for 3 cold drinks. I took the drinks to the others and praised them for the work they did. Tokoyami said, "Although I don't know what exactly happened but I know we all tried our best so let's celebrate." We all chatted and went towards the stage.

Although the people from the other classes were giving me the stink eye, they didn't dare to release their auras especially in front of my class who they thought were protecting me. They believed I had no individual ability and would lose in the duals. How wrong they were. I was probably the strongest person here excluding All Might. Maybe in some weeks of training I could beat All Might without tech.

I smirked at the thoughts and soon regained my poker face. The rankings were announced. We placed 2nd while Todoroki and some class B students placed 1st and 3rd, that was until the screen was updated and Bakugo got 3rd kicking out the poor class B students who are surrounded by monsters. 4th place was Shinso's team.

After the competition ended Todoroki took me to a tunnel of sorts. "You blindsided me so much that I broke my own pledge. I believe you are All Might's child. You must know about my father, Endeavor. He's been the No.2 Hero for a long time. If you are connected to the No1 Hero All Might, then that means I need to win all the more.

My old man will do anything to advance his position. He made a name for himself during his hero career by firing cylinders. But it was never enough to outplace the legend like All Might, who was an unremovable mite in his view. And because he knew that he could never hack it with his own power, he devised a plan. "Hey Todoroki!" I called him out. I don't know if he hears this if the timeline has changed but he needs to. I continued when I had his attention. "You hate your father. I understand that but not using his power because you dislike him is stupid. If you are already one of the strongest between us all with only half your quirk you are insulting everyone else who are doing all they can. I depend on tech but that doesn't mean I didn't train. But people don't see that.

So I am going to beat you on my own without a quirk or tech. It might require my all and I am willing to do that. Think about the people you could save if you use your fire. It may be your fathers right now because you believe that and are obsessed with revenge. If it is his right now, make it your own. Don't let your downfall be revenge. The hate will consume you till there is nothing left and until it feels that your heart has turned to stone." I clutched my chest as I remembered what happened to me. I don't want him to feel pain.

After listening to my harsh and truthful words he was sad and understanding what I meant. I smoothly walked over. I put my hand on his shoulder and said, "If it means anything the burn makes you look badass." I walked away leaving a flustered Todoroki behind. The matches were decided after a lot of drama.

3rd match: Hana Hayashi VS Hitoshi Shinso

4th match: Izuku Midoriya VS Mezo Shoji

5th match: Yosetsu Awase VS Tenya Iida

6th match: Shoto Todoroki VS Hanta Sero

7th match: Mina Ashido VS Kyoka Jiro

8th match: Fumikage Tokoyami VS Momo Yaoyorozu
