Altering Fate: what happens if the storyline is changed

I ignored the first 2 fights as mine was 3rd. I meditated and built my mental barriers stronger. These past weeks I tortured myself the same way Killua's family tortured him, My body was covered in scars but after mastering Killua's healing the scars vanished soon. The torture made me stronger. I am better than I ever was. Immune to pain, poison and electricity. I will need that. 


When meditating for a while in a closed soundproof room I released some Nen, turning my hair white. My timer rang and I stopped. It was time for my match. I walked outside and Present Mic introduced me and my opponent. Everyone cheered for my opponent and looked at me with disgust. 


The crowd expected me to give up. But I am not weak like them. I walked to the circle where the fight would take place. "Oy what is your name again? I forgot." This is the question he asked me. I want to win but also test my mental barriers. So I answered with a smirk, "Hana Hayashi '' I could tell he was wary of me but when I answered he smiled thinking he had won. 


I lost control over my body and was trapped, unable to move how I wanted. He moved my body towards the boundary. That's when I started to resist, but it was hard. I clutched my head to break free. Shinso was distraught thinking about how strong my willpower was. He tried to control me again but I made a cut on my forehead and snapped out of his hypnosis. 


Still afraid of being controlled I ran and kicked Shino. My kick pushed him out of the circle, as I won. Everyone in the crowd was shocked. I looked at the aggrieved Shino and walked to him. "You have the quality to be a hero Shinso. Although it may seem as if you have a villain's quirk it does not matter. All quirks are dangerous, it is what you choose to do with your quirk that matters. I am proving that even a quirkless person can be a hero. Maybe you can prove that a quirk type doesn't define you." With that I walked away. 


The audience that heard me started to cheer my name. They now thought I was worthy of being their idol's daughter. The first round was over.
