Pack Leaders

MIKA...

The moment their eyes met at Sebastian's office, Lucian knew how crazy she was. She knew he knew and was happy about it, crazy fucker. Lucian knew even Sebastian did not compare to her. Sebastian had killed thousands and tortured as many, but her. She had only spilt the blood of those who sinned. She punished those who turned her uncle without remorse, just the memories of that made Lucian want to pray to the porcelain god.

He wanted to stay awake forever, he was scared to sleep after the massacre he saw in their eyes glanced at each other when they first met. She did not spare him the gory details, it was as if she wanted to taunt him. She wanted him to see the real her. She wanted him to know what he was in for, what he saw with Sebastian was different.

He killed to survive and protect his kind and his species. Mika was different, she killed to punish those who harmed others without a valid reason. She is the punisher of the bad and Luna's servant. It made him wonder though, women like her did not look like someone who took well with being commanded and told. How was Luna going to command her to do her dirty work?

Maybe she will blackmail her by using them against her. After all, they were Mika's weakness. What she was doing to that Linda person right now, was evident enough to show how she can be brutal. Linda was screaming as if she was being tortured, yet no one was touching her. It seemed like she was hallucinating, this was the worse of punishments. She was the one hurting herself, eluded that she was escaping the pain she was experiencing.

Lucian looked at Sebastian and found him amazed and conflicted with the way their mate was acting, she was too calm and enjoying the pain she was causing Linda. She needed to stop or the people will get the wrong impression. It was already scary to know she is a golden wolf but now seeing her in action was terrifying the pack. Mika looked at Lucian as if she heard his concerns, Linda was stretching herself so badly she was drenched in her blood.

The metallic odour lingered in the air and invited the curiosity of the supernatural who were roaming around.

Mika suddenly sighed heavily with her sudden decision, "Fine, I am stopping. For now, it seems I am scary people." She said with a bored tone. They were all such party paupers and ruining her parade.

"Take her to the cells." She spoke to one of the warriors before she walked away. Lucian glanced at Landon and he was distraught. He was in pain they all could feel it.

He felt betrayed and fooled, he didn't understand why his father allowed this to happen and he did not understand why he had to endure it. Did he cheat on his mother with that impostor?

How can someone be so jealous and go to all these lengths to harm the one they shared a womb with? She was the one who was supposed to protect her sister and vice versa. Many people around them were asking themselves the same thing. If you can't rely on your family, then who? It was hard to believe a parent would easily believe that their child was a lost cause.

Why did they not try to get to the bottom of things? Why were they easily deceived by the lies Linda created? It is a shame that they turned a blind eye and believed what was painted to be the truth. How will they feel now knowing they wronged Millicent?

Sebastian was confused by the scene that just took place, and was more worried this was just the beginning. What was the moon Goddess thinking mating the untamed to them? It was obvious to even a fool that Mika was not your normal wolf and a crazy one at that.

Will she love them the way they already loved her? It was really sad because everyone knew that a golden wolf is emotionless and dangerously cruel. It is just the way it is, the way the Luna of all wolves decided. What might have happened for her to become a golden wolf?

Landon was frustrated and wanted to have some time alone to think and clear his head. However, he needed to be there for his younger brother. He was not the only person who got a shock of his life. Mostly, he just became the alpha of the pack and he could feel all their concerns. He needed to address them and clear their doubts.

He looked around and saw that all his mates were around and felt a little bit at ease, at least they were here to lend him a shoulder to lean on. He smiled and found the courage to address the cat in the bag.

"Can I have your attention, please?" he boomed confidently, everyone turned and looked at him.

"I know what happened here today is making everyone unease and conflicted." He looked at all of his people and new members of his family.

"Learning the truth about my parents has not only wounded my heart but all of you. It is not easy to understand what happened in the past and what led to such decisions being taken. We might not understand them or disagree but we have to accept them as they led us to this future and provided us with a warm and safe home." Everyone was quiet and listened attentively, to each word he authored.

"My father was a good leader who strived for a better life for our kind and wanted a better gave us many chances to experience that. He did not condone any behaviours that led to bullying, name shaming, division within the pack and he hates people who discriminate against others." He smiled

"I am going to carry on as my father was ruling, many may question his decisions but I am willing to overlook what happened here today because many lives were saved with his sacrifice." He looked at his brother.

"We all are feeling the same way but that does not mean we shall stop living. We must strive to make a better future for our kind and our future generations to come. I have met my mates and many of you will not be happy with them but I will not reject my mates because of people refusing to accept change."

Landon looked at Sebastian, Lucian and Mika, he motioned with his head for them to join him. As they approached the podium he looked at his people again.

"I have three mates, firstly I would like to apologise to Mika for the way I acted and reacted early today. I am not deserving of her forgiveness and understanding, as I let my anger control me. I am ashamed to admit it. I, with my mouth, authored the words, I never thought I would. I rejected my mate."

Gaps were heard around the pack grounds.

Many were appalled with this information and others who witnessed this were not as much surprised.
