How can a leader like himself, be so reckless and act so drastically?

He understood that many will question his ability to rule, perhaps he deserved it. It made a bit of sense, why he was destined to have three soul mates. They all equally became the strengths of his weaknesses. Mika was the most brutal, of all of them including him. She punishes with no remorse and if she sees it fit. Once the judgment is passed, there was no way of changing it. That's how she did things.

Though Sebastian is a king, he knew how to bargain. Mika failed miserably on this factor, Lucian was the purest of them all. He gave light to the darkness they all so well became accustomed to it.

Him.

He was a very impulsive person, he acted mostly without thinking. He will only realise the damage done after the consequences and sometimes it was hard to accept the amends pleaded. He was a person who had a hot temper and he tendered to have pride, he would not be willing to make amends and admit his bad behaviour. All alphas had the same notion, they are leaders and they should not make amends.

He feared the slander of his people and the disrespect they would show to him. But now he had mates and they had a Luna, she deserved respect. He looked at his pack then at his mates, he inhaled a much-needed breath and found the courage to face them once again.

"I wouldn't blame any of you if you see me unfit to be your leader," he said, Mika snickered.

"How pitiful?" the sarcasm was dripping from her words. She looked at the crowd with a bored expression, her eyes soon found those of her mates and families.

"Look! This is not a pity party, OK. We all know now how impulsive you can be, but that doesn't make you a bad leader. You just need to reflect on yourself a little bit, and think before you talk, " she said looking at Landon with bored eyes.

"Oh!... I see," Landon managed with much difficulty. He was angry this mate of his interrupted him, it can't be helped. He is an alpha after all. "Don't take it personally, she is no better than you. She just likes teasing you, and you fall for it all the time," said Sebastian with an amused smirk on his face.

"Arghh," laughter broke out of the crowd, Landon realized what his mates were doing, the atmosphere was not as stiff as before.

"Look! I understand what he did to me was extreme, but I understand him as well. Even though he was being a fool. If we are being honest, most of you learned something from his behaviour today," she said addressing the pack.

"It is clear and simple to know you cannot act based on too many emotions, always analyze things first, because there are always two sides of the story. So, it is wise to listen to both parties and then pass a verdict. Don't judge based on your emotional turmoil, because that leads to more depressing problems," she said while rolling her eyes.

"YES, Luna," the pack members said. Mika smirked and looked at Landon, it felt like she was taunting him saying; 'Even a person with the low EQ like myself can address the pack better than you.'

Landon dismissed everyone and paid attention to the in-laws.

"Please follow me this way," he took them to the family room, he was a little bit awkward about all of this. He understood that Lucian's family just learned about their kind within 24 hours, and the drama has started. He was scared his reputation as a good partner, might be seen as weak after the events that unfolded today.

"Excuse the mess. As you have witnessed on the meeting grounds, today has been eventful and surprisingly an eye-opener for many of us," he said quietly. "Can you just relax? Your emotions are irritating me." Mika said rudely to Landon.

Everyone looked at her as if she lost her mind, she just rolled her eyes. They all just annoyed her with the expectations. "Mika, you are being rude," said her uncle with disapproval in his voice.

"In what way uncle? I am expressing my feelings here and you're telling me I am being rude?" she said with sarcasm. "Seriously, the way I see it. Everyone thinks whatever I do or say is rude. I am deeply hurt by this, I am making communication here." She was being an ass but she enjoyed making all of them uncomfortable.

"Jesus, you are one whack job," said Johnathan. "I will let that slide since I decided we are going to be best friends, but it is only this once. Call me a whack job again, I will show you crazy and you will not like it," she seethed.

"At that being said, let's deal with the fact that this place is exposed to all the dangers out there. What is your plan to ensure no harm comes to the pack members?" She asked Landon.

"What do you mean?" asked Landon confused.

"The whole point of exposing your aunt was because of this. This place is surrounded by black magic, you might have noticed weird things have been happening lately," she narrowed her eyes while saying this.

"I might have killed the source of the magic, but I am sure that man was not the only person Linda was in touch with. I am afraid there is still more than it meets the eye." Mika walked to stand next to the window.

"Everyone needs to be extra cautious and every pack member or family must walk in groups not alone. Please make sure the patrol routine is changed, as the enemy might know everything about it," she said while looking out the window.

"I still believe, even here she has accomplices," said Sebastian. "Of course she does, that is a given," Mika said sarcastically.

"Fuck you, Mika," said Sebastian with anger. Why is she being bitchy? "And why are you being a sissy?" she answered out loud.

Seb hissed out, he didn't appreciate the way she looked down on them because she wears the gold fur. She was arrogant and didn't care about other people's feelings as long as she gets satisfaction in their misery.

"You are giving Lucian a headache with your emotions, the both of you. Don't you know this is overwhelming for him?" she said angrily. "I don't give a fuck about your stupid emotional overloads, but he is not strong enough to take both your fucking turmoils." She seethed again

"And you are doing better than us, ain't you adding up to it?" said Landon with judgement in his voice."Well I am not stupid like you, I know how to keep my feelings to myself"

This was true and they all knew it because though she was angry, they did not feel her anger at all. It only affected them like everyone else in the room, the darkness in the room and sinister feeling. She wore was more than it met the eye, that was for sure.

Who is Mika?

Her being the golden wolf was a fact, but there was more to her. What was more special about her?
