-Kara-

"Mgh*" I grunt

Dammit

Same stupid dream..

I squint my eyes when I heard something sniffing at my feet

Thor?

"Hahhh armff!" He barks

"Hey, how'd you been, buddy?" I scratch his head

He was locked in the backyard since the battle began

I figured they left him there but I guess Falco turned back to get him

I was about to ask if he ate at all today when I heard someone approaching the door

"Put these on" Hange tosses me my clothes

It was a cloak along with Colts straw hat to cover up my face

After saying goodbye to Sasha we board a train where I'm given my own cabin

I was looking through the tiny crack I made in the windows which had been boarded up from the outside and I could see the familiar trees that surrounded the outside wall Maria of Shiganshina district

"Guess we're almost there, huh" I sigh before the door opened, Levi and Hange join me

"Don't you think this was a little extra?" I ask, knocking on the window

"Yeah but it's never a bad idea to be too safe" Hange says

"Times have changed, Kara" Levi says "there are many who support Erens ideology even after he has turned his back on us"

"Word spread that you fought against him, so there's no doubt you already got a target on your back" Hange adds

"Right, what about Sasha?" I ask as they sit at a table

"She'll be transported to an Asian country not too far from here along with Pieck where they'll be treated by the best doctors their country has to offer" Levi responds

"Oh.." I sigh

Pieck too?

I thought she'd heal just like Eren and Zeke…

Guess it was that bad huh..

"So where are we off to?"

"Capitol, you have to join Lady Historias side at the throne" Levi says

Historia…

It's been so long..

"Eren's beliefs spread like wildfire a couple months into the first year you left. Ever since then, people we now call Yeagarists adopted his beliefs" Hange says

"And ever since word got out that Eren betrayed you the entire country has been in the brink of a civil war" Levi adds

"Two days ago there was a riot in the capitol, they demanded Lady Historia fill them in on your whereabouts, but that information has been kept classified even for her" Hange says

"Tensions are quickly rising, the people of this nation need to hear the voice of their king, they need to know you still care more than they would think" Levi says

"A civil war is the last thing we should be worrying about" I say

"You're exactly right, but you can not expect us to declare war on Eren while our country is collapsing in on itself" he says

"All we have to do is get your voice out there, and in doing so the tensions should calm drastically" she adds

I'm not sure about this..

I had this nasty feeling in my gut

Before I could say anything the door opens

"You really think it'll go that smoothly?" Falco asks as he sits at our table

Before we could ask how he heard us he points up at the vent "I was listening"

"What do you mean?" Hange asks

"I'm not too sure, but from the looks of it this might be more serious than you think" he sets a news article down "according to these studies the Yeagarists have us out numbered three to one" he says

Though I was still trying to wrap my head around how he could hear us from the cabin over

"We have Historia and the entire military on our side" Levi says

Falco shakes his head "these votes are anonymous anyone could have voted that includes soldiers" he says

"Right now Shiganshina is leading with the most Yeagarist, that being 77% of their population" he says

"Shiganshina?"

"Yes, I'd say it's the district most responsible for spreading Erens ideology" Levi says

"Then wouldn't it have been a better idea to go to Quinta or Holst?" I ask naming the east and west cities of Wall Maria

"We're heading to Holst right now" Levi says

What's going on?

I look up at the vent

They're listening

We all look at each other as we came to realization

The train was awfully quiet

After a couple of seconds the doors burst open and a flock of soldiers come barging in from both sides

"Stay out of their arm's reach, men" Floch says

"What's going on?!" Hange demands

"We got tired of waiting, Hange. That is all"

"Waiting for what? We're almost done, all we need to do is take Eren down-"

"Shut up! Erens has been with us from the very beginning, you ran straight for the riches of Marley!"

"What?! You think Marley was any better?! They had us Eldians contained like we were some disease! Every Eldian throughout the world is suffering just as much as we are, and here you are picking a fight and trying to separate your own kind? You're an idiot, Floch. You're no different than those Marlian scum!" I growl

It takes him a second to respond, cause he knows damn straight I was right

"N-no we're nothing like them" he nods at his subordinate

This idiot

He can't be serious..

They lead us into the other room where they had Armin Mikasa Jean and Connie on their knees with rifles trained to the back of their heads

"N-no wait!" I shout before they could chain Hange and Levi up

"Look, I can break out of here if I want to" I hold my hand up showing them I could still harden my body

…

I was still weak but I'm sure I could pull it off

"Listen Floch, I'll go with you quietly on one condition"

"You don't get to make any demands, Kara"

"I'll kill everyone in this room without breaking a sweat. Believe me." I glare at Floch

"Kgh* what is it?" He grits his teeth

"Just let my people go, that's it, let them take the train out of here"

"Stop being an idiot, Kara!" Hange growls

"Take the train?"

"Yeah, just let 'em go, that's all I want, a-and I'll go with you, no problem right?"

He looks at his men

"No, stop trying to prove yourself, you coward!" Falco growls "mom went through all that for nothing if you go with them now!"

I look a Falco

"No, your mother would do the same"

"Easy there kid" they pull Falco back

"No, you idiot! You're not getting off this easy!" Falco kicks and squirms as they carry him off

"Fine" Floch says "but my men are bringing the train back"

"That's fine."

"N-no you can't," Mikasa tries getting through the soldiers holding her back "Kara, No!-" she shouts as they lead me out

"Agh* s-stop!" The soldier grunts before she drops him on his ass

"Mikasa!" Connie shouts as she runs into my arms

"Y-you can't do this to me, Kara" her voice trembles "you were like a father to us"

"Easy, kid." I caress her hair "I just need to buy us a few days, alright?" I pull her back

"D-don't leave us," she tears up

"Look at me" I raise her chin "trust me, they can't hurt me. You know that more than anyone, kid" I smile

She looks down at my chest

I'm ready for wherever they'll throw at me

I've felt it all, they can't do any worse

"J-just don't let them kill you."

"I won't," I pull her head in and mange to kiss her forehead before they yank me back

"Mgh*" I grunt

"Kara!" Mikasa shouts before they pull in

"I'll be fine" I tell myself as they chain my wrists together "this'll be nothing compared to that"

The began leading me down the streets

The people were cursing shouting and throwing rocks, bricks, food, water, anything they could find they'd chuck it at me

It was humiliating

A King

Being treated like some lowly scum..

But maybe I am scum..

Worse than scum…

They chain me up to a pole where the soldiers whipped and threw rocks at me all day

The soldiers began beating me with their rifles and soon began broadcasting it to the rest of the nation

"Ptff" I spit a tooth aside

"H-ha-had enough yet?" He huffs

I slowly raise my head

I could barely see with all the blood running down my face

I smile

A long grin that stretched across my face after my teeth had grown back

"Grrrr*" he twists his body as he pulls his rifle back behind his head

"Hehe*" I chuckle

God this is gonna hurt

I close my eyes as he slams the butt of his rifle onto my jaw

My head jerks from side to side as if my neck were broken before I lose the strength to even keep myself awake

Why is this happening to me?

No matter what I do

No matter what I try

I always find myself in pain

My head was hanging upside down over the edge of the bed

Her freezing cold hands were squeezing my throat tightly as she bounced furiously on my crotch

"Yes, yesh, yesh, yes, ohh-oh fuckk y-yeahh" she moans before sitting on my chest

She grabs my hair and pulls my head into her crotch before she began peeing on my face

But it's not like I care anymore

"Ahh-haha" she giggles before she began choking me again

I thought after Lucifer was done I'd finally be free

"Kgk-kk" I choke

I thought I finally had a break from this horrible nightmare..

She stops choking me before I'd knock out

..But no

She slowly forces me back inside her as she grabs my throat again

This world is rotten..

"Down to the very last…maggot" I grumble

Though I was awake I could still feel her biting my tongue

I lick my lips, trying to get that feeling out of my mouth

It's been about two days since we arrived at Shiganshina and Eren still hasn't arrived

"Tch*" I smack my lips

I'm freezing out here

They could've at least thrown me into a cell

This sucks

But…

This pain pales in comparison to what I did to her…

So they can keep at it for all I care

I hear a door open and whoever it was walks over to me

He tosses a newspaper that had Historias face on it

She looked like she hadn't changed all that much last I saw her

"I wanted to be the first to tell you" Floch says as I look at the second picture in that same article

It was a bit blurry but I could barely make out Historia standing on the other side of the balcony from the third floor of the castle with a…

Rope.. around her neck

"During the riot in the castle last night, Queen Historia… was hanged"
