Ch. 186 Spider

Pov.

-Kara-

2 months later…

"Woosh! Vrmmmm!" Lia plays with the pebbles. "Papi! Vroom!"

"Mhmm…"

"Ee wied in duh wee-der." she carefully stands up

She holds my tail for balance.

"Eee!" She giggles, reaching for the water bottle sitting on a rock

"Apap!" She waddles back over with the bottle "Wawa? Wawa?"

I take the bottle from her and twist the cap

She giggles and sits on her ass

I handed her the bottle which she spilled all over her face like an idiot.

I take the bottle away before she'd drown herself and I pat her back as she cackles everything up

She scrunches her fingers for the bottle.

I shake the bottle, turning the water into icy slush to be easier for her to consume.

"Boo! Boo!" She shakes the bottle

She cringes as she chews on the ice

"Brrr." She wipes her mouth with my tail

She drops the bottle and crawls over to the edge

I grab her ankle with my tail and I drag her back.

She snatches a dandelion and stuffs it into her mouth.

"Bloo-Bloo-Bloo." She spits, grabbing another flower and raising it up to my face. "Vaba!"

"No." I lean back

She shrieks and giggles hysterically

"Ya! Ya-kya!" She tugs my mane.

I grab her shirt and I pull her back and dangle her infront of me.

"Weee!" She covers her face "peek-boo!" Eeek… peek-boo!" She giggles on

I mean seriously she doesn't stop.

Until… she did…

She furrowed her eyebrows like she were concentrating…

"Ghk…" I cover my nose "did you defecate?"

"Hyahahaha!" She claps

I push her away only for her to race back on all fours.

I pull her back and she quickly does the same thinking we were playing some game.

"Gross." I step away from the horrid smell as she rolls around in the grass

"Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba!"

She grabs my boot.

Instead of kicking her aside, I grab her ankle with my tail as I heard Cana nearing the cabin

"We're home!" Eri sings behind her.

"Careful with her…" Cana sets her basket down and hurry's over to Lia dangling on my tail

"Take your bundle of shit."

"It's 'joy.' Oh my…" she scrunches her nose, quickly seeing what I was getting at

I shake my wrist, having been wearing the weighted bracelets ever since we ditched Japan…

Japan…

It took less than two months for the Empire to reach out.

They published my bounty with the world government so now the whole world is looking for me.

Good thing I kept this 'youthful' appearance a secret from everyone except Cana and now Eri…

"What? What are you thinking?" Cana smiles as I sit her up on the counter.

"Nothing… You?"

"Well… something happened in town…"

"What?"

"I-I don't know. There was talk about a terrorist attack."

"Yeah?"

"Mhmm… I was thinking… maybe you can…"

"Check it out?"

She nods. "And maybe… if you run into…"

"We can't stay here, Cana."

"I know… but we can't ignore what's happening either…"

"I can…"

"Kara… please…"

"Fine…" I step back "I'll take a look…"

"Apa!" Lia beams repping the new diaper Eri put on her.

"Yay!" Cana claps

…

"Found this in the forest." I summon a large hairless pork onto the counter

"Yummy, pork chop!" Eri scoops Lia up

"Pore-Chtoe!" Lia howls

Cana gives me a little smile before starting dinner with the girls.

They boiled it in a stew outside before baking it in the oven

Lia cracks eggs into a bowl. "White whis, Ofin." She tells Odin sitting beside her, licking his balls clean.

"Brrrp. Wa-wa-wa." She burps and makes random sounds, smearing egg on Odin's snout and all over her shirt

"Ah!"

Once the pork was finally ready Cana brushed her home made barocue sauce.

With Eri's help, Lia stuffs an apple into the pork's mouth as Cana readies the salad bed she prepared for it.

"Oppo! Oppo!" Lia exclaims as I lower the pork onto the bed of veggies

Cana and the girls finish touching it up with barbecue sauce

After that, I take a thigh for myself. Cana grabs a shoulder and portions it between her and Eri

"Hey, fuck off." I slap Lia's fingers aside with my tail

"Eek-Kee!" She claps

"Here you go, babe." Cana gives her a tiny portion.

She sits beside her, feeding her spoonfuls of her green gerber food with the soft pork meat.

After dinner we decided to head straight into the city to see what she was worried about.

All I got from the people was something about an underground auction and some spiders…

And that lead us straight to…

"Kurapika!" Cana jumps off my back and hurries over.

"C-Cana? Is that really you?"

"Hi! Are you looking for the terrorist too?"

"Who the fuck are you?"

"It's Kurapika! Don't you remember?!" Cana jumps

"Can't say I do, no."

"The Hunter Exams! He was there!"

"Right…"

"So much happened, Kurapika. You just have to join us for dinner! You and Kill and Gon and also the old guy!"

"Leorio?"

"Yeah! That guy!"

"I'm afraid I can't right now…"

"Why? What's wrong?"

…

"You're hunting these spiders, aren't you?"

I break the silence.

"Remember the story I told you about my clan?"

Cana nods. "You mean these spiders are the ones that stole their eyes?"

"Eyes?"

"Yeah… they slaughtered my people and took their scarlet colored eyes…"

"We have to stop them… before they hurt anyone else!"

"No Cana. This is My Fight."

"B-but-."

"Only I can avenge my kin. That's why I ask that you don't mention this to Gon if you come across them."

"R-revenge?" Cana looks at me, probably hoping I'd chime in to persuade him but I honestly couldn't possibly care any less what the hell he does.

To me it looked like we found the solution to these terrorists she was so worried about.

Cana nudges me after Kurapika steps out of the room

"What?"

"Why didn't you say anything?!" She whisper-shouts

"Like what? This isn't our fight, Cana."

"But Kurapika is our friend."

"And?"

"And we're supposed to look out for each other."

"How are we 'looking out' by interfering?"

"He's holding onto his hate…"

"Mhmm."

"Does that sound familiar to you?

"So what?"

"So… go after him!" She pushes me out the door. "Make sure he doesn't get himself killed!"

"Why-."

"Because he's our friend!" She insists. "We have to help him…"

…

"Tch." I shake my head before trailing Kurapika.

I follow him into a canyon. Where he waited for one of these Spiders.

I nearly fell asleep by the time he finally arrived.

I sit up

What the hell does she want me to do?

I cross my arms watching how it'll play out.

It was pitiful to see just how weak the pair were.

But it wasn't long until I sensed something off about Kurapika as he healed his arm

"What was that?" I land on Uvogins head

"What the hell?!" He jerks his head around, trying to find the source of my voice.

"K-Kara…" Kurapika eyes widen as I crouch down on his head

"You mother-."

I snap my fingers, these golden chains wrap around Uvogin and the word 'Cronus' written in Greek appears on his forehead as I freeze time relative to Uvogin

"What are you doing here?! A-and what did you do to Uvogin?"

"You're eyes… when they turn scarlet…"

"So you can tell…"

"It shortens your lifespan." In exchange he has 100% efficiency in every Nen Category. The energy system of this continent

"Yes…"

Is this what Cana was talking about?

Did she know?

No, I doubt it. 

"What do you plan to do with this one?" I tap Uvogins head.

"What do you think? I'm going to put him down for slaughtering my clan."

"Oh yeah? At the cost of what? Hours? Days of your life?"

"That's none of your concern."

"You're right, you can drop dead for all I care."

But Cana will never let it go.

"By the time you get to the Spiders Head you'll have what?" I tap my chin "Three years to revel in your vengeance?"

"And that's only if… you manage to hunt them all down…"

"It'll be worth every second that I watch this scum suffer"

Shit…

I am Not very good at this.

Let's see…

"What about Gon?… that Old guy and Killua?"

"They have nothing to do with this."

"Does the time you spent with them really hold less value than the time you spent sulking in this darkness?"

"What about their lives? Do they hold no meaning to you?"

"What?! Of course they do!" He snares

"If you kill one of these spiders. They will come for you and every single person you hold dear."

"I've already taken the necessary precautions."

"There is nothing that you can do to halt a vengeful heart."

…

"You know this. They'll find a way to get to them and they'll be used against you in the most atrocious way."

…

"I'll tell you what…" I hop off Uvogins head

Kurapika takes a few steps back as I land between the two

"The satisfaction will end the moment you take off the Head. Then you ask yourself… Was it really worth it all?"

The time dilation runs out on Uvogin and he becomes conscious again

"There you are, pest!"

I catch his fist with a finger.

"You can have an eternity to savor your vengeance. Or an eternity to value your precious time…"

"Son of a-." I flick Uvos fist down, burying it into the ground and disappear with the explosion.

…

I return to Cana, thinking back to the things I said to Kurapika.

It isn't a coincidence that we ran into him here in the capital… hunting down the Phantom Troupe no less…

I just couldn't resist… 

Settling the Score with Hisoka.

Pov.

-Cana-

"What are you thinking?" I wiggle my butt

"Why?"

"Hmm" I blush as he pumps his fingers inside me.

…

"I wanna know." I moan.

"For what?" He grumbles as I bite his lip

"Mnn-Ahh…"

I arch my back as he finally positions himself behind me.

He wraps his arms around my neck

I squeeze my eyes shut and hold my breath as he pulls his hips back

"W-waid a shecond-mnn." I whine, feeling the pressure of his enormous size filling me up. "Hmm-nnf." I pout

He pulls my hair back with his tail as he slowly began moving his hips

He sucks my tongue into his mouth, giving me some ease of mind. Even as he crushes me into the bed.

We kept it up all night. Something we haven't been able to do for a while around the girls.

"Do you think Kill and Gon are in town too?" I brush my hair in the bath as he scrubs fondles my chest

"No idea."

I lay back, against his chest

He seemed to be contemplating the conversation he had with Kurapika…

That's a total score, I think!

Making him confront his troubles by confronting someone else's…

That just might work. I smirk.

"What?" He asks

"Wouldn't you like to know." I smirk

"You-."

"C'mon!" I jump out of the water.

I quickly get ready and make him hurry it up. We hit the shoppinmart and buy a bunch of meat and veggies.

From there we marched back home just as Eri was getting Lia out of bed

"Oof-woofy"

"Odin is right over here, baby." I bring her to the living room, my sandals slapping against my heel

I sit in front of Kara and I plop Lia down between my legs

He seemed to be meditating. Which was something I've noticed he's been doing a lot lately.

"Vi-Ah."

"Lee-Lee-Lee.. Ah-Ahh. Lia."

"Lia." I correct her

"Vvvv!" She sucks her bottom lip 

"Be-Ahh. A-Vee-Ahh." She crawls over to Kara but I pull her back before he could turn her down himself. 

"Mmm." She frowns and pouts up at me.

"Om-Nom-Nom!" I pinch her cheeks and nibble on her nose.

She cackles hysterically

"Be! Bee-Bee! I Bee wa-wawa." She babbles. I set her down and crawled over to her toy box where Eri was brushing her Barbie dolls hair.

"Hi! Do you want to play with me, Cana?"

"Mhmm." I smile

"Me! Mee!" Lia claps
