-Kara-

"No. Stop it, Lia. This one's mine, you'll dirty her hair!" Eri tugs on her doll as Lia chews on her hair.

I open the door

"Why are you so short?" The old guy asks

"Why are you so weak?" I cross my arms

"Is Cana home? Can we come in?" Kurapika peeks inside

"Hey! Gon, Kill, Kurapika, and Raylorio, come on in!"

"It's Leorio!" He growls

"Whoa! Who's this?" Gon and Killua hurry inside.

"C'mon, dinners ready!" Cana waves them to the table.

Eri drags Lia's chair over and straps Lia down as Cana serves everyone up with a generous plate of rice beans and fajitas.

"Relative to Uvogin. But it was impressive nonetheless."

"Cool!" Gon beams. "Can you show us?! Please!"

I shove my fork through the table. "What are you going to ask me to roll over next?"

"What? Why would I ask you to do that?"

"Gon, we're eating now. Try asking again later." Leorio tries easing the tension

 "I look like a clown to you? If you want a fight then fine, but I won't put on a show."

"Hey, what's your deal, man?! He was asking a simple question. You don't have to be a total dick about it!" Killua jumps out of his chair

"It's fine, let's talk about it later, you guys." Gon chuckles awkwardly

"How was Japan? Were you there long?" Kurapika quickly changes the subject

"W-Well, Lia quickly became a factor when we arrived." Cana blushes

"We heard something terrible happened in Japan."

"Mhmm. There was a… 'falling out.' Amongst the titans of Japan." I cross my arms with a little smirk playing on my lips.

"Only the weak parished. So it wasn't so terrible."

"The continent was at war by the time we entered our second year. The battle between the strongest of both sides cost billions their lives."

"What?! You mean a single battle between two people did all that?" Gon jumps onto the edge of his seat

"Yes, and they should be Ashamed of themselves." Cana crosses her arms.

Ashamed of what? My overwhelming power?

"Tch." I cross my arms

We finish dinner before Kilua and Gon mention they were helping Kurapika hunt down these spiders.

Turns out he didn't kill Uvogin.

But he's still set on finding the scarlet eyes.

Gon and Killua are out for the bounty on their heads.

Which was intriguing since my assets were still on hold.

They head on their way once the sun begins to set.

"Are you going to help them?" She breaks the silence that filled the room

"Maybe. Probably go on my own. We could use the cash."

"What?" The air has been feeling tense ever since they left.

"I don't like the way you were acting in front of our guest."

"The way you dismissed the tragedy that happened in Japan." She she pulls her hair up into a messy bun

"Tch." I scoff, shaking my head "What was I supposed to do? Hold back?" 

"Try sympathizing first."

"Try to imagine, what if it had been Lia or I killed by your recklessness."

"Odin wouldn't allow it."

"That isn't the point."

"Then what the hell are you talking about?"

"Kids like Eri and Lia. Families, just like ours, lost everything… during a battle they had nothing to do with."

"I know you don't fully understand, and I don't expect you to. But… even sparing a single life can go a long way…"

"Almost there!" she grumbles, looking for somewhere to place her foot as we climb up a cliff.

"Why don't we just fly?" Hang by my fingertips

"You think you can check them out? See if they are a threat to anyone."

Though I've got nothing better to do. 

"I won't be long."

I head east for a good thirty minutes at subsonic speeds

If I move too fast it'll garner far too much attention.

That, I do not need.

I slow as I come to the largest concentration of Aura in the vicinity

"Hello there, boy." The old man walks over

"What the hell? Are you a Chimera Ant, Kid?" Another guy asks with a exaggeratedly huge smoke pipe steps forward

I point at the old man. "Spar with me."

"Bahaha!" He laughs "brave little one aren't you?"

"Listen up. This is no place for a brat like you so-."

I crushed the smoker into the ground the moment his finger grazed my fur coat.

The old man smiles.

"I see what's going on here… I rarely forget faces, you know, especially those of promising Hunters."

"Wh-what the hell?!" The Smoker grumbles as I manipulate his gravitational field and bury him into the ground.

"What's your name again?" He tilts his head.

"Kara."

I turn over to the tall rocky pillar in the middle of the forest after an enormous presence bursts to life.

"Who the hell is that?"

"The King…"

"What?! Y-you mean we were too late?" The smoker grumbles at my feet

To think there's someone who can rival All Might on this Continent…

A lowly insect still, but impressive nonetheless. 

I draw my blade, ready to strike the Chimera ant out of the sky that was flying over with white flag

"They're insects."

"They are a developing species no different than us…"

"Hmf." I scoff, crossing my arms.

"Why don't you join us, young Kara? Maybe you can learn something."
