Oh Justin you idiot

So,  Here I am trying to form my words , to ask this girl

for a job. After staring in her eyes for a good thirty seconds, I finally said, "I would like a job, please".

"What kind of job" she said with a wild look in her eyes.

"Well anything works, as long as I get paid" I said.

"We don't really need anything right now" she said.

"Ok thank you for your time" I said , I was really sad.

I was, I mean , I felt bad but , to be honest , such is life.

"WAIT!!" , I heard being time as I was walking out.

The manager was calling me, I was hoping for good news.

"If you really need the job , we could always use an extra waiter, what do you think?" She said, weirdly optimistic.

" I don't really need the job that much" I said , trying not to cause trouble.

" OK, we really need a waiter" she said in a way that sound like I was missing something.

"OK , I'll take you up on that then" I felt like smiling , but I held back.

Guess,  I'm starting a new a job, maybe even a new chapter of my life. A lundi.

MONDAY

So , I work in the evenings, but summer is just a month away so, by then I will probably work longer hours.

Today is my first day, so after school I went home , I decided to take a little nap, considering that I have two hours 'til my first shift.

OH SHITT, I OVERSLEPT!!! wait , I still have five mimutes.

Guess I have to ride my bicycle .

WHEW, thank God I made it just in time.

As I walked through the front door , I saw Lily

[the manager], holding up a suit of uniform on a hanger. "Para ti" she said , "Gracias", I replied . I now unknowingly  just entered the Spanish zone. I only know a little though.

My first shift was good,  I am now officially,  A WORKING PERSON, I smiled and went home, to study for the tests I have next week.

*Gracias -spanish- [thank you]
