Ace: "Yo, Touya-bro. You done?"

Touya: "Yeah. And I've already checked, all phrazes are already taken care off. It's strange though, why would a large number of phrazes attack this town anyway?"

Ace: "Yeah. Now that you mention it, it really is strange."

'I think I remember something about this being that evil servile god's doing from the light novel. I'm just not so sure of the details...'

Touya: "Something to think about later."

Ace: "Mhmm. Anyway. Touya, meet the first princess of Lestia. Princess Hildegard."

He said and gestured towards Hilde who was listening to their conversation earnestly.

Touya: "O-Oh, right. I'm Mochizuki Touya, Grand Duke of Brunhild. A pleasure to make your acquaintance, princess."

Hilde: "The pleasure is all mine, Grand Duke. But if I may ask, what is your business here on our kingdom?"

Touya: "Ah, I'm just here to visit some ruins along with Ace. You have my apologies for showing up unannounced."

Hilde: "I see. If that is the case, then there is no problem. Besides, you've also helped us in eliminating the threats of those crystal abominations along with Ace-sama, and saved a lot of lives in the process."

Touya: "Mm, all good then."

Ace: "Anyway. Touya-bro, you'll have to go and check out that ruin by yourself this time, I'll have to make a quick trip to the castle and explain what happened here. It's alright for me to release some informations about these phrazes right?"

Touya: "It's fine, it's fine~. And yes, of course you can. Now that these freaks have already attacked this kingdom, they have the right to know as to what exactly these things are, especially the royalties for them to be able to come up with some counter measures. Anyways, I'll be on my way then, good luck~!"

He said with a hint of amusement on his gaze when he looked at Ace and Hilde standing together and shot into the sky and off to the distant mountain range.

Ace: 'That guy is really perceptive when it comes to the relationship of others, but when it comes to his own, he's just too dense.'

"Right, princess Hildegard, do you want to come along with me back to the castle? I'll have to report what happened here and have a talk with a certain old man."

Hilde: "A-Ah! Yes! And please just call me Hilde, Ace-sama, we're e-... ehm... Th-this uhm~... The one that you'll be explaining, it's about these crystal creatures, right?"

Ace: 'O...kay~? That confirms it, there's definitely something going on here, judging from her way of speaking and her stopping in the middle of her sentences like she wants or was about to tell me something but stops herself. And most of all, her flushed face...'

"Sure then, Hilde. But in return, you'll have to call me Ace, with no honorifics. And yes, it is about them."

Hilde: "M-Mm! Ace, then! Well, shall we go? Should I call on the carriage now?"

Ace: "Aiii~, there's no need for that. I have a faster way for us to get there."

He said and approached her slowly.

Hilde: "Hm? How exac-....?! Kya!!! Ace?! Wha-What are you doing?!"

Ace: "Hm? Carrying you, of course. We will be flying from here so you might want to tighten your hold on me."

He said as he looked at Hilde's red-as-a-tomato face as he took her in a princess carry. Looking at her reaction, he somehow felt satisfied for some reason and smiled at her, then look up to the Knights that were still around, who were looking a little unsure of how to act do with this situation.

Should they help their princess, or should they not? But even if they wanted to, what exactly can they do? The man who had the princess in their arms is famed to be one of the strongest and was recently crowned as a Gold ranked Adventurer that can make a snack out of a Dragon, a pincushion out of a Behemoth, and has the capability to finish a large beast stamped on his own, that without breaking a sweat too. So what exactly can they do?

Ace: "Alright. I'll be taking your princess first. You'll just have to finish what you're doing here and then you can head back too."

He said as he began to slowly float up to the sky, then abruptly shot off on to the distance towards the royal castle which caused Hilde to unconsciously wrap her arms around Ace's neck tightly. They flew at super sonic speeds with Hilde's squeal of surprise and Ace's joyful laughter.

Hilde: "This isn't funny!"

Ace: "Hahaha~! Of course not! It's beautiful! Just try and open your eyes, and you'll see~."

He said and looked down at Hilde who was clinging to him like her life depends on it as she burries her face in his chest. She looks really cute, to be honest. But he could've sworn that it would have been much better without her breastplate, it's irritatingly getting in the way!

Hilde hesitantly opens her eyes and let it wander around the surroundings. From the height that they are flying, all beauty of the kingdom is visible, free for her eyes to take the sights in, especially the massive castle in the distance that they are approaching at a really fast speed. Her eyes widened in surprise with the incredible sight of her kingdom in such a high altitude. Sure, she knew that her kingdom is really beautiful, that with her vantage point on the ground, but up in the sky, the beauty the she is used to was multiplied by a couples of times!

Hilde: "This is wonderful. It's really beautiful..."

She said unconsciously as her hold tightens around Ace's neck, but Ace does not mind it, in fact, he enjoys it. Well, aside from her breastplate, damn IT!

Ace: "Told ya~."

Hilde: "Mm! Thank you, Ace."

She said with a bright smile which made Ace smile at her with the same intensity.

Ace: "Well, as much as I like for this little moment of ours to last for a bit longer, we need to hurry. I still need to meet up with Touya and the others after all, so I'll be speeding us up further, alright?"

Hilde: "M-Mm... I wish we could have... 'a bit more time like this too'..."

She said, but her last words were in a whisper, but Ace heard her clearly, so he smiled happily. It seems that his plan on getting the princess's attention is a huge success, and more so even. It seems that she is already developing feeling for him, or has she already did? Anyway~...

Ace: "Well, we can always do this any time if you like~."

He said with a slight teasing tone on his voice, which caused Hilde to once again flush in embarrassment.

Hilde: "You-You've heard that?!"

Ace: "Hehehe~, yup! All of my physical attributes, even my senses are all enhanced to an almost unimaginable level. Though, I've got full control of my capabilities, so I have no need to worry about breaking things I don't want to."

Hilde: "T-That sounds i-incredible..."

Ace: "Mhmm. But, let's continue this talk later, let's speed up to the castle for now, 'kay?"

Hilde: "Mm!"

With that, Hilde tightened her grip on Ace, to which Ace smiled and once again increased his speed, up to his current maximum.
