「Greeting, Jin Shinpei, the Third Calamity」
I expected to be met with an endless void of darkness
But as I open my eyes, I was in a simple small cubical room, holding a bag, as if I had just moved in.
"Huh…?- GRRR- AHHHHHHGHHHHHRHHHHHH" it was at moment, before I could even comprehend what was going on, a disgustingly painful migraine assaulted me, combine with the feeling of extreme vertigo.
After 3 hours, the migraine and continuous vertigo finally stopped, and unknown memories began to flow in
"Ha…ha… ugh.."
It was then, a transparent interface system-like screen appeared in front of me

Wait… seriously, what's goin-
"ARHHHHHGHHHHHH" it was then another migraine assaulted, though it was much more painful, it was just for a brief moment
Then a voice reverberated within my mind and another interface screen like system appeared in front of me once again
「A gift for the sole reader, Jin Shinpei, Thank you for your support. May you find true happiness in this next life

Gift(s):
> Wildcard (Skill): Absolute Probabilities Manipulation

"Ha… ha… let's collect my thought for a moment…" I muttered as I staggered my way to my bed
That engraving on the door, PRSM… its kind of like a dorm room from Worthless Honor
"The memory after the first wave of migraine suggested that I was enrolling here… Jin Shinpei, rank 1897, his mana control is great, that was the reason he was able to enroll here, but it seems he still wasn't aware of what his skill was…"
there were some circumstances like this in the novel, as Skills are mysterious and has no link to mana, but it was then discovered that it was link to another undiscovered element in the future, therefore before that, people had to find out their ability natural-...
Wait…
Does that mean, I'm currently inside the novel 'Worthless Honor'?!?!?
WHAT THE FU-
'There's no way right?' I thought in disbelief.
*DING DONG*
[Attention Students of PRSM Academy, orientation shall be hold in 2 days, please get to your assigned class on time]
Well damn… the universe just answered my question
"HOLY FU-"
—-
After calming down and collecting my thought I decided to plan.
'What should I do from now on, I have reincarnated in worthless honor.'
But in reality, I had already know what my goal was
"To witness the Epilogue of this story…"
And this meant that I needed strength
I had already tried the mana circulating technique in my memory, it seem that it was past down from my grandpa, my last family member in this world, and although I'm not sure, I sensed that it was quite effective
By the way, sensing mana inside your body is quite weird, it felt as if something is embracing your body, but it was a comfortable feeling.
Now, about my ability, the system here stated that it was [Wind Mimicry]…
This skill allow me basically become 'one with the wind'. It basically allow me to transform myself or any part of my body into the wind
It was said in the novel that the [Skills] are not activate by channeling mana, but consciously by thoughts
Kind of like a mental trigger.
Thus, I closed by eyes and began to concentrate and imagine my arms as light as the wind, as formless as the wind, as one with the wind…
Swoosh
And after while, the sound of a flying arrow reverberated, and as I opened my eyes, I began to sweat bullets from the sight of my right arm vanishing
But immediately calmed down after it has return from me breaking concentration
'Okay, fuck I thought I lost my arm for a second'
I caught glimpse of the second interface screen still hovering in the air and turned my attention towards it
I tried to click on the the word 'worthlesshonor.text' but my hand went through the screen instead
"Hmm…" so I began to channel my thought with the intention of opening the text
Then suddenly, another interface screen filled with words appeared next to the previous one
'This…is…' As I read the text I began to realized that it was the full story of Worthless Honor
Having the full text of 'Worthless Honor' was a massive advantage that I could use to achieve my goal, but I would need to use it wisely
Then I moved on the 'gift' above the 'WorthlessHonor.text'
"Wildcard…" I muttered as I read the text
That was like Shin's [Boundless Regression]
"…"
"Absolute Probabilities Manipulation…" my eyes widen as I realized the weight of these words
'…' I turned towards a random object inside my room, a clothes hanger.
I closed my eyes and concentrated.
[Absolute Probabilities Manipulation]
It was an extremely uncomfortable feeling, it was as if my consciousness was suddenly detached from my soul for a moment
I felt omnipotent, as if I was absolute
The entire existence of this world distorted for mere moment as I tipped the scale of probabilities
After a while, as I expected, the hanger suddenly began to rot and melt away.
My eyes widened in shock before a great pain assaulted my head.
'I guess that took much more out of me than I thought,'
My expression, however, suddenly distorted into that of a frown, "this is bad…"
Don't get me wrong, the ability to manipulate probabilities is a powerful one, no that is an understatement, the power was absolute that it could entire shift reality itself, and it would allow me manipulate every aspect of it. Time, Space, Creation, Nature, everything could only be helpless before my wildcard, [Absolute Probabilities Manipulation]
But there was a problem, if I were to utilize this ability to do something that would directly affect the story drastically, or actually, rather if I were shift reality towards a future in which should deemed 'impossible', and steer it to the outcome that was outside of 'fate', I would no doubt get hit by a 'Probability Storm', which would most likely kill me, as of my current state.
However, that would only be my lightest punishment.
Once that happens, the Origin would definitely be aware of my existence. This would lead to my 'eternal death'
"After all, an existence that has the ability to control probabilities, should not exist." This logic led me to believe I am in the same situation as Shin. 'The origin have not discover about my existence yet.'
Chills went down my spine as I thought of the possibility of being banished into the void
'Let's restrict that for now, and focus on get stronger with my other ability' I decided
Now, due to my circumstances, it wouldn't wise to gather an unnecessary attention which may likely get me killed by either that entity or the origin, however, I still needed strength, and I had to gather it quietly.
Or else I wouldn't survive the war between humans and demons.
According to the original round, the 0th round, 2 years after Shin enrolled at PRSM, the most major event occurred. The demon king decided to summon an entire army inside of the Academy, right in the middle of humans' central domain.
This began the war that would decide the survival of humanity.
But now heres the problems. I am still clueless about the most important information. "How many times has Shin regressed by now?"
This was an extremely important information that could dictates quite a lot of aspects.
What action he is going to take and consequences that cane with it. What ability he is possessing. How he'll deal with anomalies in the new round. How much has he lost. How much hatred he bears. If he is going to be my enemy or not.
I needed this information as it would help me much more in maintaining the order of this storyline
No matter the circumstances, Shin is most likely going to be a nuisance to me as I am an anomaly to his usually rounds, there is no telling what he would do to me, however, I still needed him. Because, whether I like it or not, the fate of this world rest upon him.

[In an unknown room]
"GRR!" A lone figure stood in a room covered darkness, slammed his fist into the wall, causing the the cubical room to shook greatly
"Another attempt…" the man muttered helplessly as he fell and sat down on the floor, "where did I go wrong…?"
It was then, he felt a cry of agony and rage within his soul.
"Just as I thought it was the end… no, I had feeling from the start, the Origin… that damn bastard…" the man seethed in rage as mana began to run rampage, "I'll never forgive you… even if it means I have to die over and over again, I'll eliminate you…"
"Then, I will revive the Honored One"

Ah… what a great day to be inside your favorite novel…" I happily spoke as I got ready, "Imagine not being reincarnated in your favorite novel, fucking normies"
It has been two days since I have been reincarnated inside 'Worthless Honor', And I have been training hard to improve my mana circulations and my Wind Mimicry
During that time the memory of Jin Shinpei, before took over his body, completely returned back to me.
It seem that his-… well my grandpa was a respected and honorable man in the past. He descended from a Japanese ancestor, and was an amazing assassin that have eliminated quite a few important figure of the Demon Army, although that was over a hundred years ago, he was kind of forgotten…
Now, I was the only successor, that would inherit his 'Dagger art' and Mana Circulation technique. This 'Dagger Art' of his was named [Silent Wind], an art that was specifically developed to eliminated the target and disappearing as quickly as possible.
[Silent Wind] has 10 movements which were perfect to create an assassin that could shook the entire human domain.
It was quite fortunate, to say the least. Not only that I also was blessed with a skill that was perfect to combine with the art. But there was a problem, the mana control needed to perfect the art was still disgustingly high.
I can shift my entire body and transform into the wind in the air to move and such, which also allows me to be immune to physical damage. I can levitate and fly a bit but it takes a lot of concentration.
"Hmm… I can't believe it… this is considered average beauty level in this world, I'm hurt…" I complained as he looked at myself in the mirror
I was quite tall, around 1m 9, I had quite the sharp feature, and my muscle was well-toned, my hair was jet-black, but eyes was unusually silver-white
The previous Jin Shinpei was quite the hard worker, because he wasn't aware of his own Skill.
Damn… now I kind of feel bad
The Uniform was a simple long black pants, black shirt, and a white school blazer with the mark of PRSM Academy, and a name plate with my information engraving on it.
The fabric was extremely flexible and comfortable and can be used during battles.
I checked the time to see that it was almost 7:30 am and class starts at 8 am, to be honest, I'm quite excited and annoyed at the same time
Why? You might ask?
Well, I don't which fucker who decided it was a great idea to put me in the same class as the protagonists. The cliche is so cringe its eating me from the inside.
'Anyways, whatever, nothing beats being in your favorite no-…..' As I open my door to head out, I caught a glimpse of my neighbor's door opening as well, and oh boy do I not have a good feeling about this
As door swung open, a youth with an overwhelming beauty, silver white hair and sharp golden eyes, and a lean build walked out nonchalantly.
He was just a slight bit taller than me, but that's not important right now…
'Shit…' I cursed in my mind as I eyed the youth consciously keeping myself composed while trying think of the next action I should take.
He noticed my stare and gave a smile in return as he walked towards my direction, "Hey!" He greeted.
I noticed the twitch in his facial muscles when he noticed me.
"Good morning" I returned the greeting, trying to sound casual.
"Did you just move in?"
'He's testing me…' it was true, I wasn't supposed to be his original neighbor, it was supposed to be some cannon folder named Chris.
"Yeah, it was quite rush and was a mess, a new room just opened up yesterday, so I just moved in yesterday night," I lied as naturally as I breathed.
The youth muttered, "It's rare to see the top academy making errors like this"
"Well, to be honest, I almost failed, I guess, the decision was a bit delayed" I lied once again. "I think my rank is at the bottom."
"I see… don't worry though, you'll definitely have a chance to climb the ranks during the school years, so keep your head up" he encouraged with a smile.
"Thanks"
He seemed rather calm, but I knew there was more to it considering how his facial muscle twitch when witnessing an anomaly so early into the round.
He's trying to get information out of me.
"Oh wait.. where are my manners, my name is Shin, just Shin, I'm in class 1-7, nice to meet you" he introduced with a smile as he as extended his hand
Yes, it was none other than [The Second Anomaly], Shin, the Regressor.
"Likewise, I'm Jin, Jin Shinpei, I'm also in class 1-7"
"Oh, nice! Let's go together" Shin spoke. "Are you familiar here?"
"No, actually, I wasn't able to get a tour of the school the day after the entrance exam, I was messed up quite badly you see," I forced as wry smile and slight chuckle which I made it seems like it was directed towards my own pathetic situation.
"Oh great, I can show you where our class is," He suggested, that smile never vanishing.
"Sure, lead the way" I answered
"By the way, this is probably quite a personal question, but what's your [Skill], mine is called 'Skill Roulette' it allows me to use random skills I have seen before" He said as he flashed the skills that he mimicked from his past rounds. "Sorry, I'm kind of intrigued about the concept of Skills, you see."
Lies
His true skill and 'wildcard' is a dangerous combination, his skill was called [Eternal Mimicry], he can essentially copy any skills after looking at i once, and thus he is able to continue to build up this stockpile of skills throughout many rounds.
You might be asking, then couldn't he have copied the skill of the demon that can manipulate Time, Space, and Matter?
Well, no, not even close, as since the skill of the demon was something that belonged to a higher plane of existence, and his [Eternal Mimicry] also has its limit, he couldn't copy it.
"Oh no problem, mine is called [Wind Mimicry] I can turn into the wind, I guess" I answered as I shift my arm into the wind and dispersed it before returning back to its original form
"Woah, that's the first time I've heard of it" which sounded to me like, 'thanks you gullible bastard, now I have a new skill to use'
But it doesn't matter, although my plan may have encountered some changes, him getting stronger was still a necessity in my plan.
Shin is probably cautious around me, not only was I an anomaly in his mind, I was an anomaly that happened to appear quite early into the round, by which I meant a couple of hours into the round, so he's probably trying to keep me in check.
I followed Shin around the campus for over 10 minutes, making small talks along the way, before we arrived at a large classroom door that has the labeled "1-7" on it
"I'll use the back door" I said as I get ready to walk to the back door.
"Why?" Shin asked in a confused tone
"Social anxiety I guess, I just don't like everyone to be staring at me, which often happens when you enter from the front door." I have to admit, it was quite sloppy excuse to get away from him, but it made some sense.
"Oh c'mon it'll be fine, We're all new here anyways," He said with a smile of angel that looked like a devil from my perspective
"Nah I'm good"
No really, it's a great chance to get away from him and choose a seat that's even further away from the main group
"Come on, don't be so cold it'll be fin-"
"Can you guys move? You're in the way…" speaking of cold, a cold voice suddenly resounded behind us
I turned around and met the icy glare of a beautiful girl with wavy black hair, tied into a bun, cold amethyst eyes, and extremely gorgeous figure
"Oh hey, Mia, how's your injuries?" Shin greeted her with a smile, and proceed to get ignored by her as she walked into the classroom, "Hmm… that's cold."
"I can tell, she's uh… what was that label that they used back in late 2010s… uh ah, right a Tsundere" I commented
"What's that?"
"It's like someone who is initially cold and harsh at first, but then they would grow a warmer and friendlier side, they may have developed this warmer side already, but often chose to hide them" I answered
"You can tell?!?" Shin looked at me in shock, as he naturally knew this side of Mia after countless regression
"Anyways I'm still using the backdoor, good luck with the stares of the ladies," I spoke quickly before walking to the backdoor and entering from it.
