The sad look in Will's eyes as he faked a smile at him made Caxon sad since he had grown to like his strange roommate but unfortunately in this case there was not much that could be done.

Although he was willing to show some skill to the others the level at which he would have to fight to give Will what he wanted was not something he was even sure he could do at his full strength and was definitely far beyond what he wanted to be perceived as.

Instead, all he could do was give Will a small smile and hope that there he would be able to fully trust him at some point so that he could fulfill his promise.

After hearing that Caxon was once again avoiding a fight with Will many of the students laughed, unfortunately for them they had not been very careful about it as Will's eyes narrowed at the students who had laughed.
