"Let me first test the Explosive seals. Now that I am half as powerful as a Grade one Martial Artist my power must have exponentially increased." Evian said as he stood before the same Rhino tree below which he had buried the cultivation manual before.
Picking up a stone he channelled his Qi inside it while thinking about the black seal.
And just as he expected a black seal formed on the round stone. He could feel a connection with the seal like he could activate it anytime he wanted.
Gulping his saliva, he threw the rock just like last time, towards the bottom of the great Rhino tree.
And just as the rock was about to hit the tree Evian activated the seal through his mind.
"Ignite!"
As soon as he said that the rock exploded, this time the explosion was a lot bigger than before. Last time the explosion that Evian caused didn't even do a scratch to the stone, however, this time the round stone completely exploded into pieces and even some wood was sent flying around.
"It's still not big enough." Although the explosion was bigger than the previous attempt, it was still not enough to kill a grade two wild beast.
"I will have to be creative if I want to kill a grade two beast." Evian started to think of various ways he could use his unique powers.
And suddenly a thought came to his mind. "This is the only way!" He said excitedly and to test his theory he took out a small Grape from the bag that he bought with him.
He then channelled his Qi inside the Grape and soon enough a black seal formed on the fruit.
"Let's hope it works. I haven't put too much of my Qi in it as I will first test it on a small animal." Evian said and started circulating the Qi in his body to refill the Qi he lost while making the previous two seals. He was almost empty.
Looking at the grape, hope-filled his eyes and he quickly moved towards the inner area of the forest.
Soon enough he found trails of a rabbit on the ground. Carefully treading on the way he placed the grape on the ground and left the place to hide on a big tree nearby.
"Let's hope the Seal doesn't get erased when it enters the rabbit's stomach." This was Evian's thought, he wanted to feed the grape to the rabbit so he could explode it from inside. And if his experiment succeeded he would try this on a Tire two beast.
Sitting on the tree branch he started cultivating while he waited. After one hour he filled his Qi to maximum again, however, he didn't see even hints of a single rabbit.
"Let's wait for some more time." There was a determined expression on his face.
After four more hours Evian was about to quit and try at a different place, however, just as he was about to move from the tree branch he saw a little moment from the corner of his eyes. A Ball of brown fur moved on the trail with a speed as fast as a cheetah leaving many small dust clouds behind it and before Evian could comprehend what is happening, both the ball of fur and the Grape vanished from his eyesight.
"Wild Rabbit!" Evian exclaimed and quickly closed his eyes. He can't let that rabbit escape as he has waited far too long to lay another grape. He was already tired and just wanted to go back to his room.
"Ignite!"
With just his single thought the seal on the grape exploded with a "Puchii..." Sound and Evian could spot blood and organs flying from behind a small bush.
"It worked!!" Although that rabbit was not a grade two beast however his theory still worked, the seal didn't dissipate even after the rabbit bit into it and turned it into pieces. It just passed to the nearest object to it, which was the rabbit's mouth itself.
A smile formed on Evian's face and all his exhaustion just evaporated in a matter of seconds. "Maybe I could succeed in killing a grade two beast. I should try it Tonight as many high-level beasts tend to hunt at night." Because of the excitement of his newfound discovery, Evian who wanted to go to his room decided against it and instead continued to hunt even more.
Quickly moving down from the tree he reached towards the spot where he saw the blood flowing and behind a small bush he could see a horrific scene. It was a mess of flesh, blood and internal organs all over the place. That wild rabbit's head was completely blown up and the remaining of its body was laying on the ground.
The only things remaining of the rabbit was his tail, his two hind legs and its stomach, everything else was destroyed by the explosion. As this wild rabbit was not even a grade one beats it couldn't even handle the small amount of Qi that Evian placed in his seal.
Picking up the body Evian placed it in a small red cloth that he brought with him and quickly ran away from the sight, as the smell of blood could attract a more powerful beast. He headed towards the deeper end of the forest.
After about an hour of running and evading many beasts, Evian was sitting on a tree branch again. His face and body were covered in mud and some green slimy substance that he got from the tar of a tree. He covered his body with these things to diminish the smell of blood on him. Especially that green substance, Evian found out that after applying that tar many small beasts avoided him and even the smell of blood was completely overlapped.
In his hand was the small red cloth and the rabbit within. And in front of him was a giant cave and from the size of that cave, Evian estimated it to be at least a grade two beast's cave.
"I have to be careful." He only had one chance for him to succeed. If the beast sensed him then he would die for sure. He looked at the sky and saw that the sun was still in the middle and it would take at least six more hours for it to be nighttime.
Suddenly a plan popped up in his mind and he tore the rabbit into six pieces of flesh after that he took out the first piece from the red cloth and injected all his Qi into that piece, forming the seal of explosion on it. After that, he rested on the treetop for the next one hour and recovered his Qi again.
He then took out the next piece again, out of the red cloth and filled it too with all his Qi, He did that with all the remaining meat pieces for the next four hours. Looking in his bag a smile formed on his face. If a second-grade beast ate all of these meat pieces it would definitely suffer fatal injuries if it did not die instantly.
"If I don't succeed with this than I don't know what I would do." Evian placed all his hopes in the six meat pieces marked with his explosive seals. He then recovered his Qi for the next hour, so if anything unexpected happened then he could run away with his full stamina.
He then waited for four more hours and not even ants were moving out of the cave much less a grade two beast. However, Evian was sure that there was a beast in that cave as he heard its snores all day, while he was preparing his explosive seals on the treetops. Just as he was losing patience a roar suddenly came and a white wolf emerged out of the cave.
Just by sensing its aura, Evian could tell that it was a level two beast, gulping his saliva Evian didn't wait anymore and started throwing the six meat pieces covered with his explosive seals towards a general area near the cave.
After Quickly throwing the six pieces of rabbit towards the white wolf Evian stood up on the branch and jumped on a nearby more lush tree so that the wolf couldn't easily spot him. He then looked at the beast with hopeful eyes. "Eat it!" Evian whispered under his breath.
The white wolf didn't notice the meat pieces instantly as it had not yet fully emerged from the cave. Only after a few seconds did the smell of meat hit its nose and saliva dripped out of the corner of its mouth. He has slept all day and now was very hungry. Quickly following the smell it reached the first piece of meat.
Evian could see a glimmer in the wolf's eyes and a smile formed on his face. "Now eat it and help me pass my first month."
However, opposite to his expectations just when the wolf was about to eat the first piece of meat it suddenly jumped in panic and quickly moved back. It was like it has seen something scary and was running back to save his life.
A frown appeared on Evian's forehead as he squinted his eyes to look at what happened, and only after focusing for a few seconds did he notice a slithering snake on the ground.
Seeing the snake moving on the ground Evian's eyes shot open in panic. "A grade Three RollingStone Cobra!" He whispered as he cursed the heavens for his bad luck.
