The Richman (Book 2) - Comming Home

Getting out of the hospital was a victory for Adrianna. In the end, she managed to become a mother to a handsome baby boy named George. Aldric was equally happy to receive his first baby boy, his son with Adrianna.

Although at first, Adrianna didn't want to set foot in the house where the tragedy with Alexandra Cameroon happened, in the end, she softened up.

"I want to go back to our house," said Adrianna.

Aldric frowned, the original plan was to return to the apartment where they currently live. But when Adrianna said that, Aldric's face turned red, his eyes even filled with tears. He built the house with love, as a gift for his first son, who despite his failures, but in the end, Adrianna softened, and it made him so touched. "Are you serious?" Ask Aldric.

Adrianna nodded, "The house was built by my husband with great difficulty, he put his time, energy, and thought into realizing our family's dream house. How can I ignore all his sacrifices so far." Adrianna looked at Aldric.

"I'm not going to force you to come to terms with the past dear," Aldric said.

"Not at all," Adrianna replied. "George deserves a gift from his father," Adrianna said and it made Aldric even bluer. He immediately hugged his wife.

The conversation took place in the afternoon at five o'clock local time, and that same evening Aldric asked his confidants, of course, with the help of Ben and Leah to clean up the new house. Replaced all the furniture with new and like magic, the next day the house was perfect to live in.

Not only that, dozens of blue and white balloons were arranged at the entrance to welcome baby George. George's return to the house that Aldric had prepared and had completed months ago became such a sweet memory for the little family.

Adrianna's return was welcomed by all family members. Richard, Ben and Leah, as well as Jollene and her husband. Everyone seemed so happy to welcome baby George and his mother to their new home.

Apart from decorating the house, they also prepared lunch for the family. Of course, Adrianna could not participate in every series of events because her condition was not quite right. While the whole family was enjoying lunch after welcoming baby George and enjoying taking turns holding the handsome baby, now it was Adrianna's turn to take him into the room to rest.

Using a wheelchair pushed by Aldric, Adrianna did a little room tour to see the rooms in the house. Aldric renovated the room at the bottom to be more spacious and insulated with glass as a nursery.

Adrianna was astonished as she entered the house. A completely different sight from the last time he saw the house and tragedy struck there.

"You renovated the house?" Adrianna asked as soon as she entered the room assisted in a wheelchair and baby George in her arms.

"Yes," Aldric replied. "I thought you'd never want to live in it, so I remodeled some parts of the house and intended to sell it," Aldric said.

Adrianna smiled, "I love the nursery." Praise him. Shades of blue and white are thick in the nursery. The last time Adrianna entered the nursery, it looked completely different. "But may George sleep in our room until he is ready to sleep on his own?" She asked seeking approval from Aldric.

"Whatever you want honey," Aldric replied.

He no longer wanted to demand anything from his wife, not at all. Seeing Adrianna still breathing, still alive, and even back to health, plus a handsome baby named George Bloom who is now in the midst of this small family, Aldric Bloom's life feels perfect. There was nothing more for him to worry about. It's just a matter of room, it's not a problem at all for him.

Although Aldric was also well aware, that sharing a room with a baby who could only communicate through crying for everything he felt would not be easy. He would definitely wake up frequently at night and ruin his sleep rhythm. But after all it is a journey that every new parent has to go through, when their baby is born into the world. They must be ready to give anything for their baby, even including his life.
