The Richman - Reconciliation

Leah had just put George to sleep and when she came out of George's room and walked to the kitchen to get mineral water because she suddenly felt very thirsty, she was suddenly surprised by the presence of Ben who was sitting at the kitchen table first with a glass of wine in his hand.

"Hey ..." Ben greeted Leah as she passed. His relationship with Leah never really improved after their argument after returning from the surrogacy agency.

"Hi." Leah brought her glass of mineral water closer to Ben and sat next to her husband.

"Thank you so much for helping my sister's family." Ben said as he looked at Leah, the woman nodded, "George is my nephew, I will always be there for him." Reply to Leah.

"How is Adrianna?" Leah asked then after a few moments of silence.

"This afternoon when I went there, she was awake. The wound on her head wasn't that bad, the CT scan results were good. It's just that her hand was fractured." said Ben.

"I wish her well." Leah nodded.

Ben sighed deeply, "Thank you." He nodded, "Sometimes people say there are new problems that arise but it actually brings good, I think this is one of them." said Ben.

"Why do you say that?" Leah asked.

"I think this way Aldric will forgive Adrianna." he said.

Leah was silent, "What about us?" She asked a moment later. Ben froze at his wife. "Do you think we're fighting?" Ask Ben.

"I don't know." Leah shuddered, "We're not fighting, but we're not okay either Ben." She added in a half whisper.

Ben got up from his seat and circled the table and then stood right in front of Leah, with his index finger he lifted his wife's chin and then kissed Leah's lips gently.

"I'm sorry . . ." Ben whispered between kisses.

"Me too." Leah looked in the mirror, she immediately got up to balance her husband's height, but Ben grabbed her waist and made her sit at the kitchen table while Ben freely kissed his wife.

"We shouldn't fight for what we don't have honey, well you're enough." whispered Ben.

"Yes..." Leah nodded in agreement.

That night it seemed that Adrianna's kitchen table witnessed the reconciliation and reconciliation of Leah and Ben while George was fast asleep in his room.

***

Twelve hours passed and Adrianna woke up after the surgery she underwent to maintain her life. Aldric sat by her side and held her hand as Adrianna opened her eyes. Her eyes turned to Aldric without turning her face. It seems that the heavy impact that left Adrianna's face covered in blood was caused by a laceration to her temple and forced six stitches. Meanwhile, her left arm was fractured and had to be put in a cast.

Although the car was destroyed but fortunately Adrianna did not suffer serious injuries. Including all of her internal organs are also safe even though there are bruises on Adrianna's chest that had made her short of breath. But everything has improved quite a bit after twelve hours of treatment.

"Hey," Aldric whispered as Adrianna tried to look at him.

"Hey," Adrianna stammered in reply. In his heart he screamed loudly while crying when he realized Aldric's soft and warm hand was holding his thin hand.

"How are you?" Aldric asked worriedly, "You want a drink?" Aldric asked again and Adrianna nodded, until Aldric took a glass of mineral water with a straw and helped his wife drink.

"The doctor said your CT scan is good, there are no internal injuries to the head." said Aldric and Adrianna nodded, even so the corners of her eyes filled with tears.

"George," She mentioned her son's name.

"He's with Ben and Leah at home, he's fine." Aldric tries to convince Adrianna that his son is in good hands.

"Thanks." She whispered slowly. "Forgive me," Adrianna whispered once more.

"What for?" asked Aldric.

"I broke your car." Answer Adrian.

"It's ok, I'll buy you a new one." Aldric answered quickly.

Adrianna's tears fell, "Are you still trying to divorce me and take custody of George?" Adrianna asked between sobs.

"Don't think about that, just think about your health." Aldric replied.

"I'm dying thinking about it, Aldric." Said Adrianna in tears. "I'm begging you, tell me how I can make up for my mistakes?" Adrianna asked, one hand unharmed wiping her own tears.

"I swear, that day, someone called me and said the owner of the cell phone had an accident, and I was on his contact list. I went to confirm Javier's condition out of humanity, that's all. I swear that I have nothing to do with Javier." Adrianna explained everything so passionately that suddenly she grimaced, as if feeling the shortness of breath again, Adrianna held her chest.

"Are you ok?" Aldric suddenly became so panicked and called the medics. A nurse came and immediately asked Aldric.

"What happened?" he asked.

"It seems my wife is feeling short of breath."

"Okay." The nurse immediately put oxygen on Adrianna and asked her to relax.

"Mrs. Bloom, please control yourself. Don't think about anything that makes you depressed." The nurse said, and Adrianna fell silent. She was holding back her tears in her heart. Aldric followed the nurse out of the room to inquire about his wife's actual condition.

"What happened to my wife exactly?" Aldric asked the nurse.

"She was hit hard in the chest and bruised inside sir, although there is no bleeding or broken bones, but the bruise causes pain every time your wife breathes. If she can control her breathing the pain won't be too much, but if your wife cries, the pain and tightness will only get worse." The nurse said.

"You should keep her emotional state stable." The nurse said with a smile before leaving Aldric. The man came back into the room and Adrianna looked away.

Aldric sighed, then sat down beside Adrianna again. He took his wife's hand and kissed her, "I love you." Aldric whispered, but that simple sentence actually made Adrianna turn to Aldric and tear up again.

"Don't cry." Aldric whispered while wiping his wife's tears. Richard took a deep breath, and in a muffled voice he expressed his feelings, "I admit, I got jealous when I saw you with that man again. After all this time I thought whether maybe you betrayed me all this time, you had an affair with him behind me."

"No..." Adrianna shook her head, once again her tears fell. "I would never do that stupid thing, never ever." Adrianna said.

Aldric kissed Adrianna's hand. "I'm sorry honey, I blame you for the accident that happened to George. It's not that I don't love you anymore, but I'm burning with jealousy. Do forgive me, please." Aldric's eyes filled with tears, Adrianna nodded.
