Where is she

Ethan rushed into the house and held Chloe by her neck and squeezed her. "Ethan! Ethan! Let... Let....go..of..me! You're...hur...hurting me!" She squeezed out these words, as she struggled to free herself from Ethan's hands, which were choking her to death.

"Where is she?" asked Ethan, his eyes filled with fury.

"Whe....where is who?" she stammered. Ethan chuckled. It was funny, how she pretended not to know what he was talking about. At first, when Devin told him that it was her, he suspected, he went bizzare. In fact, he was so angry that he punched him on the face. He didn't believe it.

Because, this was a girl he knew from childhood. A girl he knew would not even hurt a fly. How then could she be involved in kidnap? He hurt her? Yes? He didn't show her the love that she wanted? He rejected her countless times? But that didn't mean, he didn't care about her? She was like a sister to him. And he would defend her always. It was until this morning he learned the truth, that he realised he was wrong. For the first time in his life he was wrong, wrong about her. She wasn't whom he thought she was. She had changed. Probably, because of what he had done to her. He had hurt her. The funniest part of it all, she wasn't the one to be blamed but himself. He hurt her deeply.

A woman is the most pleasant creature. A woman would do anything for the man she loves. A woman would love you through thick and thin. A woman can mend you, but once you hurt her....she can destroy you. She could be the most dangerous creature you'd ever known. Thinking of this possibility, Ethan slowly released his hands from her neck. Chloe, due to being strangled for long, coughed hard. "Know what! You really are a good actress!" he complemented, a look of disdain in his eyes.

"Honestly, Ethan I don't know what you're talking about!" said Chloe as she continued to caress the spot where Ethan held her when he almost choked her to death. Ethan lost his patience. He had proof. That she was the mastermind behind the kidnap. And here she was, denying it. He reached into his pocket and brought out a recording device. He pressed on the red button and chloe's voice was heard speaking, on the background. The shock on her face gave her away. Of course, it didn't escape Ethan's eyes.

"Shocked? You should be? After all, your little trick has been found out!" he said, drily.

"Are you even sure that's me! It could be anyone, manipulating my voice! I swear to you Ethan, I really didn't do it!" As she pushed out these words, she fell onto her knees, tears trickling down her face, as she held him by his legs.

Ethan squatted before her, and with his thumb, he lifted her chin up to face him and look deep into his eyes. "It's you, and you know it! Listen up, Chloe! I don't want to hurt you! Don't make me use force on you! Because you'll definitely hate me for that!" He stressed each word to make her understand, he meant every single word. Then, he pushed her away and walked out on her. As he passed her, heading to the direction of the door, chloe's voice echoed,

"What haven't you done, Ethan? You really think I'm scared of you? I told you, if I couldn't have you, then nobody else would!" She continued to get up from the floor and walked towards him.

"Yes! I kidnapped her! She's in a place you can never suspect she could be! You can turn the world upside down, if you want to, but you'll never find her! And if you do find her, probably it will be her corpse you'll find!" She walked back to the sofa and took a sip of the juice she had been enjoying before she were interrupted. She stole a glance at him and seeing the look on his face, she howled with laughter. Jayden, who had walked in right after Chloe confessed, couldn't believe what he heard. His sister? Mastermind of a kidnap? How?

"Chloe, tell me it's not true! What you said just now? You said it to hurt Ethan, right?" Chloe turned around to see her brother standing on the door. Obviously, she was too shocked to even utter a word. He had appeared without notice. Anyway, it was too late. She couldn't take back her words. He had already heard every word that came out of her mouth. Seeing the hesitation and the look of disbelief on her face, it meant one thing. He underestimated her. "How could you, Chloe?" asked jayden still in disbelief. "The woman has done nothing wrong to you? Why would you kidnap her?"

At this point, Ethan walked away and left the two to solve their issues. He had more important matters to attend to rather than stand there and listen to their tantrums. He had to find her before it became too late.

"Of course, she has wronged me, brother! She's the cause of everything! She's the reason Ethan left me! She deserves to die!" She spoke bitterly, unable to control the tears that streamed down her face. On seeing how bitter she was, his heart softened for her. She were his sister and no matter what she did, she would remain to be his sister and he would love her always.

"Come here," he held her into a warm embrace. "It's okay. I get that he hurt you. But the woman has nothing to do with this. You need to release her as soon as possible," he requested.

"No! I won't! I will not release her!" she shouted as she got away from his embrace, and ran upstairs to her room. Jayden couldn't help but worry for his sister. What could he do? He couldn't abandon her? He had to find a way to convince her to do the right thing, before she would commit the biggest mistake of her life.
