Hidden Fantasy-A Werewolf's Obsession

Chapter 7-Alessia

I turned around to see Noah, who was already attempting to fly with his partner on the broomstick, and it was going well. Noah focused his energy and the broom appeared to levitate in the air. As this occurred, he flashed me a large confident smile, which made me quite intrigued. Then I suddenly remembered that I, too, had a partner, and that, as much as I despised it, I had to work with it. I turned to face him, who was drinking from his bottle of water and gazing at me.

"So, what are your thoughts?" I inquired, cautiously. He abruptly put down his bottle of water and turned to face me.

"You do realise this is your first time in aviation, right?" He replied with a perplexed expression on his face. That question slammed onto me like a tsunami. Of course, he assumed I was the try-hard and the problem was that he was correct.,

"Yes… I'm sorry, but I'm just curious... "Would you like to go first, then I?" I said, hesitating in the middle of sentences.

He smiled and answered, "Sure."

"By the way, my name is Logan, which I think it's important for you to know since you'll be working with me for both Aviation class and enchantments," he stated.

"My name is Alessia," I introduced myself as I unscrewed the cork and sipped the golden liquid once more. Like a cyclone, the impact rushed through me. My emotions were overpowering and I felt really tipsy. What's wrong with it? This isn't how the potion tasted last time. It was impossible to stand up straight pretty quickly. My vision began to blur, but I managed to keep all of my emotions at bay. I told myself to take deep breaths as I felt my dizziness subside.

"Hey, I have to leave...The nurse's office...Sorry" I apologised, my voice sinking. Logan caught me just as I was starting to fall and helped me up.

"Are you all right?" With a concerned tone, he inquired.

"Yeah…Ummm… "I think there was something wrong with that potion," I explained as I struggled to stand upright. Logan then wrapped his arm around my shoulders for support and began driving me to Miss Eldrod. When she saw me in that condition, she began questioning us right away.

"What is Miss Aldine's problem, Mr Hughes?" She inquired angrily.

"I believe something was wrong with the potion she received because she started feeling like this right after she took it," he explained.

"I believe the potions were created with expertise, but I'm not sure. Are you carrying the potion bottle?" She questioned. Suddenly, I began to gently dig through my pocket for the bottle, which I believe I had stashed there.

"No, Ma'am, I'm not sure where it is." Logan proceeded just as I was about to hand Ms Eldrod my golden liquid-filled bottle. She took the bottle and inspected it right away.

"I'll have someone from enchantments inspect this bottle, but in the meantime, I'd like you to stay out of your lessons for the time being," Ms Eldrod stated as she tucked the bottle safely into her pocket.

"Do you think I should accompany her, Ms Eldrod?" Jordan inquired, his worried expression melting my heart. Ms Eldrod examined Jordan and then me as if she were inspecting us.

"Are you...Dating?" With what sounded like a giggle, she inquired.

"NO!" we both said, sheepishly staring at each other. The entire class immediately came to a halt and turned their attention to us.

"Umm…It's just that I can't stand up straight right now, but that'll subside," I murmured gently as everyone's gaze was drawn back to me.

"Yes, for the time being, you both take a break from your classes till you feel better." She said, "I'll tell your professors since you're both in the same classes in the first place." She turned away from us and returned her attention to the subject. I suffered a nervous breakdown as soon as the word "break" was mentioned.

"BREAK?!" I screamed. Jordan began laughing so loudly that I assumed he'd taken some of the potions with me.

"Come on," he shouted as he dragged me to the lockers in front of the entire class, including Noah, who glanced at us with a puzzled expression. As we approached, it felt quite awkward, but Jordan's laughter certainly helped. As soon as I arrived at the lockers, I hurriedly removed my belongings from my locker and went to get dressed.

"Can we meet at 5?" I queried, my voice a touch shaky and my eyes lowering.

"Are you sure you're fine?" You realise you don't have to change your clothes, right?" With a disturbed expression on his face, Jordan explained.

"I'll be OK," I said as I moved slowly towards the restroom, knots in my stomach.
