Rare Opportunity

Tanzaku Quarters is a lively town that attracted many adults with its gambling opportunities and fine women. As such, Asami was blushing madly as she sat across Kozue and Sozui in a restaurant waited by seductive women wearing revealing clothes.

She was fuming as she said through her gritting teeth :

" You fools! I never thought this would be the 'fun' you guys had in mind! How dare you invite a lady like me to such a place, Sozui? We are leaving here after eating. And once we reach the village, I need to literally drill some sense into your mind, Sozui, you b*stard! "

Sozui gulped in nervousness and tried hard to laugh it off. Kozue didn't stay silent as he tried to shift the mood saying:

" Don't mind it, Asami! Atleast we got to see the Tanzaku Castle, it's beautiful architecture, gardens and we even learnt a bit of its history! "

The Tanzaku Castle of this place was a popular tourist attraction. It was even said that this castle was used by one of the Fire country's previous daimyo.

Asami calmed down a bit after hearing that. Nonetheless, she didn't appeared to have let go of her grudge.

The group tried to relax in their own ways, with Kozue closing his eyes, and Sozui running his eyes over all the beautiful women in revealing clothes, while having thoughts of X-ray vision or a strong wind blowing apart the obstructions to his eyes. Whereas, Asami was getting angrier by the second, due to Sozui's open perversion.

A while later, one of these seductive waitress came to their table with a teasing smile on seeing the youngsters.

" What do you want to have customers? Food, drinks or something else... "

She said the last thing specifically to Sozui who eyes were fixed on the mounds that were about to jump off from the thin fabric of that woman, since she had talked to them while bending, till her chin was at their head level. It was an action she was used to doing, for being more intimate with the customers to loosen their pockets.

Sozui who was lost in a different world was awaken back to reality by Kozue's elbow nudges to the ribs.

' What is your problem, you celibate piece of shi-'

His thoughts were broken when he saw the fuming Asami that Kozue pointed to him.

Sozui gulped and laughed nervously and said to the waitress :

"Hahaha... You jest!... We will have three sets of your special and sake for each of us! "

As the waitress was about to leave, Asami interrupted and said : " I'll have some fruit juice instead of the sake. And we would like to be not disturbed after getting the food. "

The woman nodded and left.

Sozui was under the death stare of Asami from then on, afraid to even move his eyes to check out another woman.

A few minutes later, Kozue broke the silence:

" I need to go to the washroom. I'll be back! "

Asami had an uneasy feeling ever since the team decided to hang out at Tanzaku Quarters. Therefore she had her guard up all this time.

When Sozui previously said in a sleazy tone:

" Come on, Asami! Even Sakumo sensei is not here! Its a rare opportunity for us to 'bond' as a 'team'. "

Even though he emphasized the words bond and team, her attention was on the words 'Sakumo sensei is not here'!

This coupled with her uneasy feeling made her remember the repeated warning she got from Rayzen:

" I would trust your sensei from what I have heard, but watch out for your team mates! "

He didn't say anything about them having sinister intentions, but she knew well enough to take Rayzen's words seriously. She had no doubts regarding Rayzen's intelligence as she had personally witnessed the boy grow up.

She didn't expect Tanzaku Quarters to be this loose. Nonetheless the visit to Tanzaku Castle was worth it, as she genuinely enjoyed her time with her teammates there.

Now, as they ordered for food and drinks, Asami was yet again reminded of Rayzen's yet another warning:

" You know, bad boys will subtly try to get the girl drunk enough to dull her senses, so they can do bad stuff! You won't notice this at all, unless you have your guard hidden up. Because they will make you lose yourself in a conversation and then the drinks are before you magically and you will naturally feel like taking a drink. A mental suggestion! The whole thing is an elaborate scheme to lower your guard, dull your senses and then... "

Hence Asami changed the order as soon as she noticed. Yet that uneasy feeling lingered on. She had received a lot of things to look out for from Rayzen, but nonetheless, it was too much to remember and at that time, her thoughts were on how he looked cute trying to be all protective of her.

She still looked out for warning signals but didn't find anything suspicious. She felt she was being paranoid beyond what a ninja should be. Since the concept of teamwork was not just flimsily built inside the well trained squads of the Hidden Leaf.

Nonetheless, she trusted Rayzen! And hence she let her paranoia do the work.

While assigned to Sakumo's team, Sozui and Kozue had only one mission to fulfill. Monitor Sakumo and his every actions to find his strengths and weaknesses and how to exploit and, if needed, to kill him!

This was the hidden mission they received from the Root of the Hidden Leaf that groomed them from childhood.

Kozue's character had always been the same. But initially, Sozui's was of a kid that lives for pleasure. Although this might seem to fabricated, this was their true natures. Besides being brainwashed as a child to be absolutely loyal to Lord Danzo, Kozue was a person who like combat and tactics, while Sozui was one who was enticed by the pleasures of life, with no distinction of good or bad.

But their individual personality always comes fourth, after their absolute loyalty to Danzo, their mission and then the Hidden Leaf.

It was when Asami was assigned to their team that Sozui changed to a more flirty type. Nonetheless, he genuinely wished to feast on her.

But as she grew powerful, he had to act reserved. And after reporting Asami's growing strength, a mission was issued.

Mission : Abduct Uchiha Asami without leaving a trail, if possible. Otherwise, eliminate her and take her Sharingan to Lord Danzo.

Mission requirements : Must be completed before Uchiha Asami becomes a Jonin or unlocks three tomoe Sharingan.

Both Sozui and Kozue was shocked by such a mission. Each had their own thoughts of Asami. One wished ro ravage her, while the other hoped to have her as a genuine comrade in battle for a long time. But like every time, the mission came before their needs and wishes.

They planned and planned. Took into account every info they had gathered. They arrived at a conclusion. There was only one way to ensure the mission is an absolute success, Sakumo's absence!

A rare opportunity was what they needed!
