CHAPTER 8

8 a.m. the morning after Abie's party, Blake and Joanna are still asleep in bed, oversleeping from being tired from late night partying at Abie's, and still having to come home and catch up with what they missed on God's Plan TV. Of course, Joanna went straight to bed, she has work this morning, but Blake can do whatever the hell he likes; one of the perks of being unemployed. Now, there's knocking on the front door that each of them, gaming the other to be the tool, decide not to acknowledge. But Blake knows it has to be him to get it. Joanna has work to worry about, and she better not be bothered by anything to keep her from getting to work, and bringing home the beans. So, Blake grudgingly gets off his ass, swearing to himself at whomever it is that has decided to stress him in this manner. And he knows it's probably that doofus; Olly. The knocking continues rather annoyingly. "I'm coming, I'm coming."

"It's me, dude," says Olly.
