Chapter 66: A Scenery Of Pure Despair (Part 5)

An explosion big enough to make the earth shake violently destroyed half of the village in an instant.

Ray couldn't protect himself nor run away as far as he could, it was a full direct hit that could kill him easily. He wasn't able to predict such an occurrence and even if he did, that didn't necessarily mean he could get out of an explosion of such a magnitude unscathed.

From the big cloud of smoke, a silhouette of a person could be seen flying at a high speed. It was obviously Ray. His body was tattered, to say the least.

His consciousness was barely holding on and his eyes could barely discern left from right as his body landed on the ground roughly.

Luckily enough, he didn't die from the explosion, but his state was not that far from that.

"Why...didn't....tell me." He muttered as he spat a mouthful of blood.
