After the emotional reunion between the father and the daughter which ended up being bittersweet since Ray was there, the king finally noticed Ray presence and warily observed him while clenching on Charlotte's hand unconsciously.

"Who is this young man Charlotte?" He asked.

"Ah, D-Dad...This is Ray...He is the one who saved me and brought me here."

These few words were more than enough to draw a beautiful smile on the king's face. He then approached Ray and extended his hand for a handshake while still having a silly smile on his face.

"I'm really grateful for what you've done. She is the only one left for me and the thought of losing her destroyed my life...Thank you so much.."

'Tell him to shove those words up his ass.' Sanguis intervened in the conversation making Ray's face twitch slightly.
