Chapter 18

The next morning arrives and when I open my eyes the chimera alchemists still sleep.

Ignoring them for now I make myself ready for school, I transmutate my appearance to look like I'm the age of the students there and jug a few milk boxes down.

I feed Gluttony as well and leave a note, giving instructions for the alchemists when they wake up.

My time at the UA was pretty boring so I'll sum it up into three words: Boring, boring, boring.

Seriously everything we did there was discussing different heroes and quirk theory, we did one semi battle that was just as boring and the rest of my time was spend with normal school subjects like english or math.

When I escaped that castle of boringness I went home to refresh myself and look after the still sleeping chimeras.

I soon left the house again this time driving into a low middle class area of the city. I ate some different fast food wherever I went slowly making my way to a family apartment.

I knocked on the door with 8 long pauses and 2 short ones before it opened. The person standing in front of me is a giant ant, really nothing more than an ant.

"Hello Boss, come in"

The brownish black ant gestures me to sit on the couch surrounded by different types of drugs and illegal knives. This is one of my storing outpost with mostly harmless illegal stuff, things like shrooms, chemicals, switch knives and fake passports.

There's also a bunch of battle ready chimeras in the basement. The one supervising this particular safe house is the ant who let me come in, he's one of the most intelligent chimeras I have though he doesn't have anything noteworthy about himself so he mostly does investments.

He was supposed to be a battle chimera with the ten times more strength as an ant but if you enlarge them with alchemy they lose the multiplier and only have a strength two times more than a humans.

To add ro this specific ants suffering he was born with no talent in alchemy, in most cases intelligence = alchemical talent but he was unable to activate beginner transmutation circles and his body makes it impossible to draw for him with a chalk or pencil.

"Do you want a tea or something boss?"

"Sure bring me a tea"

The giant ant enters the kitchen and uses one of the lower chimeras, a mix between turtle, butterfly and cat, to make the tea.

A few minutes pass by and the Ant gets out of the kitchen again holding the cup of tea barley with his two stumps.

"Boss if I may, what brings you here"

"Good question, a few chimeras were able to become true alchemists and now I tiny safe houses like this are not needed anymore, neither for the creation of money, we already have enough of it, nor for the storage of weapons and chimera's my alchemists and me are able to create such a force within minutes. In short: You've become a security risk."

The ant stares at me for a while and gives me a nod before taking his hand and snapping his neck himself, while I'm sipping from my cup of black tea.

I go to check up on him confirming his death.

*Slurp*

I walk outside another one of my safe houses once again, sipping from the tea I got from the big ant.

My method to eliminate was pretty simple, go in teough the front door, tell the manager inside what's going to happen and kill all lifeforms in there by compressing their flesh to a minimum and burning them afterwards.

Just killing them or ordering them to kill themselves will leave way too many tracks like their stench or DNA potentially tracing back to my blood.

I have destroyed almost all safe houses today and must say the ant was special in a way. Most Supervisors don't talk to me nor do they anything except their set command.

The ant even seemed to have developed a personality and was even able to make a choice for himself, to kill himself.

It wouldn't be weird if he had one of the scripts I made but after a quick check on the locations of all scripts I affirmed my theory that he didn't own one.

*Zack*

I throw my cup into a trash bin after desinfecting it of course and pull out a bloodred translucent stone. It's only a few milimeters in size and has but a single soul inside of it.

'You're truly interesting even now you still retain a consciousness'

I return home buying a few liters of milk as I do so.

At home the alchemists are finally awake still trying to grasp what these emotions they experience are.

When I enter the living room they currently reside in they give me a greeting worthy of a king.

""""WELCOME BACK BOSS!""""

They bow down bending their knee and placing on of their arms on it with the other one being placed on the ground.

"That's something new but I'm not gonna complain about it. Anyways guys your first real mission will be given ti you now."

""""WE GLADLY ACCEPT BOSS!""""

Mhmm maybe a bit over the top but it's still ok.

"Ok you will have one week before you tell me the names you decided upon and thereafter you'll go on your respective mission for the next three months.

Frostfall you'll be sent to America with one of our faked passports and will be continuing the collection of philosopher's stones there, I'ld also recommend to you to train in the army there, handling a handgun or combat knives.

Scarlet flesh you'll have to do two different jobs firstly get on the plan with Frostfall and help him out in danger after all we have no clues about american heroes exact power level so be careful. afterwards go to Europe and do the same thing there.

Bloodshield/Garry you will be in charge of helping me out with research and you'll also be creating a small army of chimeras in a storeroom I bought at in the wilderness a few miles away from the city, just take one week of research and one for creating the small army.

Ladtly Rat empress, you'll infiltrate the japanese government, use your rats to spy on people with political powrt and get me their dirty secrets, I expect you to atleast become a important minister with all the time I'm giving you."

""""YES BOSS!""""

I walk into my bedroom wich was gotten rid of for a small lab and pull out the Ants philosopher's stone again.

'Now I'l have time to work with you!"
