Practice Room

Lunch didn't seem to be that much of an important business for the band members. Some of them didn't have any plans of eating anything at all and only Chris, Lix Han, and Miso ate their lunches.

It appeared to be the first meal they had for the day and didn't think too much of it. Most of them ate their fill while Chris wanted a bite of Han's food.

Seeing them get along like close friends, or as a family, Miso felt relieved that she or even later on Jay, would become as close as them in the future as well.

"Let's meet at the practice room in the company at one in the afternoon," Chris sent a message in their chat group in a haste. Luckily, Miso was invited earlier by the leader as well.

Miso replied, "Yes."

And Chris, who was just sitting next to her at the dining table, glanced at her with a smile. Miso continued to look at the chat group and found out that most of the members replied the same, except for Ren.

Ren seemed like he couldn't be bothered with anything---not even replying to a single emoticon or a single word to acknowledge the leader's announcement.

Miso stood up and Chris started organizing their trashes and threw them in the trash bin. It didn't seem like Chris would want to change his clothes for the practice so Miso decided to change inside their room.

She took off her shirt and pants and changed them into more comfortable loose pants. She made sure that the binder she wore was in a good state but Miso noticed the door burst open.

Turning her head around, she met gazes with Chris, who appeared to have been just as surprised as she was.

His jaw dropped and immediately turned his head to the right. Chris blurted out, "I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to!"

"T-That's okay,"

After Chris heard Miso's answer, he closed the door. Miso took this chance to look for a shirt that she was supposed to wear. She didn't have many clothes, so she decided to put on the sweater she had been wearing earlier.

Miso went out of the room and saw Chris standing at the right side of the hallway with his forehead on the wall.

"Chris, I'm done using the room," Miso said as she glanced at Chris. She hoped that her face wouldn't be that red. "You should have just entered the room anyways."

He turned his head and his eyes widened in surprise, "What do you mean by I should have entered the room?"

"If it happens again, the members might find it weird that I'm kicking you out every time I want to change my clothes," replied Miso.

"We could just reason out that you're shy and all," Chris sighed as he continued. "And how can you even tell me that I can just enter the room?" He glanced to his sides before he leaned in closer. "And besides... You should have locked the door. What if it wasn't me who entered the room?"

"I'm sorry, Chris," Miso replied as she took a step back. "I should have been more careful."

"Enough of this," Chris said as he sighed. "I didn't mean to scold you for this. If you're done, we should go to the company now. It's just a walking distance."

She nodded, "Okay." Miso turned her head and glanced at the empty living area, "But what about the others?"

"The others don't like it when we go to the practice room altogether so we either go by pairs or whenever we like it," responded Chris as he scratched his head.

"I see,"

Chris muttered in a low voice, "There's too much that happened just for this day." He continued as he stared at Miso in the eye, "How can I possibly survive this?"

Unfortunately, Chris mumbled it in such a small voice that Miso was unable to hear his words. She just stared at him with a puzzled expression.

"What did you say?"

Chris shook his head as a reply, "No. Nothing at all."

"Is everyone already gathered?" Chris asked as he glanced at everyone in the practice room.

All six of them were gathered in the practice room where most of the members were already at their designated positions. Chris was just right in front of Miso, who was the main vocalist of the band.

The lead guitarist, Ren, and rhythm guitarists were positioned right behind Miso. While the keyboardist, Bin, bassist, Lix and the drummer, Han, were behind the guitarists as well. The night before, Miso had already practiced the melodies of the songs Blue Rose had composed the night before.

Chris had shared with her the files of their song and gave her the music sheets so that she could practice on her own. Thankfully this time, she was able to take at least three hours of sleep.

"I heard that the leader has already given you the demo songs we had recorded yesterday," Ren said Miso turned her head and glanced at him when he spoke. "You must have already practiced well enough, right?"

"I did," Miso nodded. "I already practiced but I'm not that confident if it's up to your expectation. I'll do well."

"Doing your best doesn't practically give away great results." Ren coldly said as the atmosphere immediately went tense, "Just your efforts are enough."

For some reason, Miso was surprised by his sudden act of kindness that she ended up glancing at Chris with a surprised facial expression. Chris shrugged and continued to speak, "Well. I guess that's all it. Let's have a good time practicing for today!"

"Yes," Everyone answered in chorus. "Let's have a good time."

"The first song will be, Blue Rose," Chris said as he stood in position, securing the strap of his guitar on his back. "It's our title song."

And Miso had started showing off her skills and practiced with the group.
