Sleeping Naked

"Is it true that you don't wear anything when you sleep?"

Silence filled the room yet again.

Of course.

Miso belatedly realized that it was somehow inappropriate for her to ask. "Well, no..." she said, thinking fast to cover for herself, "I mean, I didn't mean to ask it in a weird way."

"Ah..." Chris trailed off as he averted his gaze and fixed it on the floor. "It's fine. I mean, we'll be roommates, after all. And it might be a bit uncomfortable for you to see me.." He hesitated before he continued, "To see me naked."

"No, not at all---" Miso said but she cut herself off when she realized it came off weird. Before she could even continue, the door burst open. And they were left in awkward silence.

Both of them turned their heads towards the door. Miso saw Han, waking up from his sleep. He wore a long hoodie that covered his hair disheveled hair. His eyes stared at a distance, then lowered his gaze where Chris and Miso were.

"Excuse me, young sirs," Han said as he spoke in a dull voice. "I live in the next room and I think it would be better to tone down your noises. I wanted to sleep more."

"I'm sorry, Han," Miso said as she apologetically looked up at Han. "There was a small accident that happened earlier. "I will try to be more careful next time."

He glanced at the clothes that were scattered on the floor and remarked, "I'm amazed. It'll take you forever to organize all of that in one go."

"Is that the reason why you don't clean up?" asked Chris jokingly.

"Of course," Han responded. He suddenly became worked up and pointed at him, "I am starting to organize my things well, Chris!" He yelled and then turned around to leave the room. "I'm going now."

"Organize your things as well," Chris said as he watched Han close the door and exit the room. He turned to Miso and said, "Han is the most disorganized person in the dorm. He leaves his things everywhere."

"I see," Miso nodded.

"I have been with the members for several years already so we already know each of our habits," Chris continued with a shy giggle. "And as Ren mentioned earlier, I sleep not wearing any clothes as a habit."

Miso was silent and didn't know what to reply so she just continued working on piling her clothes.

"Since you're already here," Chris responded, "I might as well change that habit of mine. I don't think it would be right for me to sleep without wearing any clothes on."

"I mean, it's okay for you to do so," Miso said as she avoided staring at Chris's eyes. "Since it might be more comfortable for you to sleep without any clothes."

"Why? I mean," He hesitated before he continued. "Are you really okay seeing a man wearing nothing while sleeping?"

"Your body will be buried with your blanket, right?" She asked. "And it's not like you're completely naked. I'm sure you'd still be wearing your b-boxers, right?"

Chris was silent for a few seconds. And that was when Miso realized the meaning behind his silence. The whole situation became even more awkward for both of them.

"Literally, nothing." He said as he scratched his head with his right hand. "I don't wear anything when I sleep." He continued, "I guess I can wear something light."

Miso saw how Chris's ears turned red and his cheeks started to blush. It was too adorable for her but the same thing happened to her as well. She better get herself together, really.

It wasn't the right time for her to become a teenager who blushes at such small things. She should focus more on her job as a replacement for her twin brother and make sure that no one else will find out about her identity.

"Oh, okay. I see." Miso nodded.

The two of them continued to do things without any more talking. After a few moments, the door burst open and Miso saw Lix's head popping out.

"We're ordering some food for lunch," Lix said with a bright smile contrary to his extremely attractive deep voice. "Tell me what you guys want for lunch."

"I want to order a burger and some fries," Chris spoke as he glanced at Lix.

"Nothing for beverage, right?" asked Lix for confirmation.

"Yes, I'll just have some orange juice in the fridge," Chris responded as he turned to Miso. "How about you, Jay? They'll probably order in WcDonald's."

"I'm not hungry," Miso raised her hands and waved them. "It's okay."

"Are you sure?" Lix asked as he unconsciously stared at Miso. "Are you the type who skips lunch? We usually skip breakfast and just eat something for brunch."

Despite Miso's small and petite body, she never skips meals and likes to eat small but well-proportioned food. But having burgers from Wcdonald's isn't a bad idea as well.

She was a bit hesitant to say what she wanted but she had heard her stomach grumbling from hunger.

"It seemed that what you say and what your stomach feels are different," Chris giggled as he looked at Miso. "I'm pretty sure that you don't eat burgers and fries everyday."

"I'm sure Miso is not like you, Chris," Lix jokingly said as he stuck out his tongue playfully at him. "You can eat five packets of ramen in one sitting."

"Wait, really?" Miso blurted out as he looked at Chris.

"He doesn't seem like it but he eats a lot," Lix amusingly shared with a big grin. "The reason why he doesn't gain any weight is that he exercises like crazy every day."

Miso nodded. She was amazed at how the members know each other's habits and characteristics as a person. It seemed like they treat each other like a family.

"Stop..." Chris pouted like a child and said, "Lix. You're making me seen as a weird person, you know." He turned to Miso, "What do you want for lunch?"

"I want the black chicken burger and a coke zero for lunch," Miso finally had the courage and smiled. "Thank you, Lix. Just tell me how much is it and I'll wire you the money."
