Meeting. (2)

Silence.

That's all that reigned over the main hall.

Yan Zizai, the Head Elder of the Cloudy Sun Sect smacked his chair and stood up with a grave expression as he stared daggers at Di Tian.

"Junior, on account of your identity, I'll forget what you just said if you apologize."

He slowly spoke in a cold tone as if he wanted every word to strike at Di Tian's soul.

The majestic aura emanating out of him would make any junior cultivator kneel in submission after experiencing his imposing might.

But who was Di Tian?

He was indifferent to Yan Zizai's threats. A genuine expression of confusion appeared on his face as he said, "Did I say something wrong? All of your disciples are weaker than me, so I'm giving them an advantage by allowing them to fight me together. In fact, isn't that mercy?"

"Hahaha!"

Rambunctious laughter sounded out from where the Burning Heaven Clan was seated.

Fen Hanyan, who was the sixth elder, was ecstatic as he heard Di Tian's words. He loved how he disregarded all face and just spoke his mind straightforwardly to the Cloudy Sun Sect. His gaze became filled with pride as he looked at Di Tian.

"Young Master Di, your words are truly profound. Your grandfather told me to make sure that you push yourself to the limit, so I don't believe the disciples of the Cloudy Sun Sect are enough. Challenge another sect too."

After Fen Hanyan spoke, anger emerged in the stomachs of all the people there. Even Xiao Luocheng didn't expect the situation to go in this direction. What was the Burning Heaven Clan planning here today?

Contrary to everyone else though, Di Tian had stars in his eyes. It was like he was in a dream. He pointed towards another direction and said calmly, "Then I'll listen to grandfather's words. Profound Heart Sect, all of you, come at me together. You and the disciples of the Cloudy S-"

"ENOUGH OF THIS!"

An enraged shout came out of the mouth of a young man from the Cloudy Sun Sect as he jumped into the middle of the Main Hall. His entire aura was on fire and the temperature in the room rose rapidly as he locked eyes with Di Tian.

"Trash! Do you think I'll allow you to do what you want?! You're barely at the first level of the Nascent Profound Realm so how dare you act so arrogantly?!"

Di Tian was still unperturbed as he heard the young man's words.

"Arrogant? I'm afraid that none of you have the ability to call me that. If I tell you that you're weak, that just means it's true. And you know what..."

Di Tian's eyes went across all of the disciples from every sect in the hall as continued.

"Not one of you can prove me wrong."

"BASTARD!"

If Yan Zizai was any bolder, he would've run down into the middle of Main Hall to rip Di Tian into pieces for insulting his Cloudy Sun Sect like that. But that didn't mean he would stomach this humiliation.

He swept his gaze to the young man who was challenging Di Tian and said, "Yan Ming, show this arrogant fool the power of our Burning Sun Art!"

Yan Ming immediately put his hands together and slowly brought them apart, revealing a yellow chain made of scorching fire.

"The Cloudy Sun chain! The signature art of their sect! I didn't know Yan Ming had cultivated to this level!"

"Shhhh! Let's watch the fight! Yan Ming has to win!"

Disciples of the other sects cheered loudly for Yan Ming when they saw him attacking Di Tian with the chain. It's almost as if they could already see him getting eviscerated by its unbearable heat in their minds.

Unfortunately, reality was often disappointing.

BOOM!

The Cloudy Sun Chain was crushed into nothingness as Yan Ming was smashed into the ground under Di Tian's gravitational power. Blood poured out of Yan Ming's mouth as he struggled to move, causing his bones to give out heart-wrenching sounds.

"W-what just happened?!!!!!"

"Did someone else intervene?! How was Yan Ming injured?!"

Everyone was dumbfounded. Yan Ming barely even made one step before he was ruthlessly suppressed by some kind of invisible force!

Di Tian didn't even spare him a glance as he turned to the Cloudy Sun Sect and the Profound Heart Sect.

"I'll say this again. All of you come at me together!"

As Di Tian shamelessly goaded the two sects into action, unbeknownst to him, a figure was standing in an unremarkable corner experiencing more shock than anyone else there.

"Yun Che, he's a true dragon that controls gravity! I'm sure of it! No one else may be able to sense it, but there's a hidden draconic aura within him! And his bloodline is pure! How could an art like that and a bloodline like that appear in the lower realms?!"

A crisp, clean, excited but grave voice sounded out in Yun Che's mind. Yun Che was a tall, handsome young man with decently long black hair and soft beautiful jade-like skin. He looked like he never experienced a day of hardship in his life. But currently, this young man's eyes were almost bulging out of their sockets.

'Jasmine, so what you're saying is...he's a True Dragon that controls what...? Gravity? What is Gravity? Is that an element?'

In a separate dimension located in a certain treasure on Yun Che's body, a young girl folded her arms tightly as she scanned Di Tian. It looked like she wanted to snatch him up immediately and investigate the secrets of his body.

Her hair was as red as a demon's, her face was crafted from the most exquisite pieces of white jade, each of her facial features was all beautiful to the extreme, and all of them combined made her unbelievably perfect.

This was Jasmine.

'There's a planet located in the lower realms that's made up of mostly water, similar to this one. They have investigated many things and their technology has gotten to a point to where many people in the God Realm respected them greatly. That was where I heard of the term Gravity first. They called it 'a fundamental force of the universe.'

Yun Che's mind immediately went in a million directions as he heard her words. He didn't even know what to think as confusion grasped his brain.

'J-jasmine, s-slow down...'

'Shut up! Let me finish! It's a force that is present everywhere and in everything. It's one of the reasons that cultivators are unable to fly before the Sky Profound Realm. Gravity tethers you to the planet. So, imagine if someone made a profound art that allows them to control that power...'

Yun Che didn't understand anything that he just heard except that Di Tian controlled an extremely strong element. That immediately put Di Tian on his 'try not to offend' list. Especially since Jasmine seemed to be so interested as this is the first time he's heard her talk so much.

'Yun Che...befriend him! You have to! If you can manage that, who knows, maybe he might teach it to you! Even if he doesn't, having him as a backup would allow you to swagger in front of the Xiao Clan naked and even if they had ten thousand times the courage, they wouldn't dare to utter a word in defiance!'

As Yun Che tried to get his thoughts together, he faintly heard Jasmine muttering, 'Impossible...a True Dragon like this in the lower realms...even the Dragon Monarch doesn't...what the hell is going on with this planet...'

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

In the Main Hall, Di Tian had just finally managed to make Yan Zizai and Xuan Ao, the Head Elder of the Profound Heart Sect, go mad with rage at his comments. Yan Zizai threw all his dignity as he stomped on the ground furiously and shouted, "Go! All of you! Cripple him! Maim him! Show him the power of the Cloudy Sun Sect!"

Xuan Ao on other hand, was in a much calmer state of rage as he said coldly, "All of you, go. Don't show any mercy."

All twenty disciples from the Cloudy Sun Sect and all ten from the Profound Heart Sect surrounded Di Tian. The disciple in the lead of the Profound Heart Sect was a young man named Xuan Yu. He had a certain elegance around him as he wielded his fan and looked sternly at Di Tian.

He wasn't stupid enough to not see what Di Tian was doing all this time.

"Brother Di, please, give us your guidance."

The Cloudy Sun Sect on the other hand was leaderless. Well, their supposed leader was already lying motionless on the ground. Who knew if he fainted from the pain or the shame of getting defeated so easily?

For the first time, Di Tian's eyes turned completely purple as smiled wholeheartedly. This battle was going to be exciting!

He stepped forward and stomped on the ground, causing it to fissure as he outstretched both hands towards the disciples. A purple aura enveloped all of them and his voice sounded like an ancient beast's as he shouted, "Come!"
