New employees

"So, how were the interviews?" Asked Lux as he looked at both girls who joined them back on the second floor of the adventurer's guild.

"Not bad. We managed to fill all the positions, and Hazel prepared a schedule for them. They will start working tomorrow morning at six. However, amongst the applicants, there were more than a few who only came to ask us on a date. Again. They are bothersome." Started Kira before sighing at the ever-expanding amount of men who wanted to date her due to her status as a hero and due to her figure. Being an elf didn't help as many men were interested in her simply due to her less numerous race and innate beauty. It was especially the case with the nobles who thought they could buy everything they wanted with the money, including her heart and body.

"Well, it's not as if it was the first time it happened." Said Ewan as he laughed. He always found it funny when she complained about having too many suiters.

"Yeah, but it's not less bothersome." She answered before Aysha continued to speak. "So, will you three restart doing missions tomorrow? Are there even any S rank missions in the adventurer's guild for the moment?"

It was at this moment that Hazel, like the perfect secretary, answered her question. [There are currently two pressing S rank missions in the adventurer's guild. The king, who received a demand for help from the city of Loit and Maby, made them both.

In the first case, a frost dragon appeared and nested in the mountains in the wild near the city. In the second case, a middle-grade dungeon has been located and is currently releasing an incredible amount of monsters, and the army can barely block them. The mission is to clear the monsters and destroy the dungeon. This mission isn't S class per se, but gathering the necessary amount of A ranks would be too troublesome, so the king paid more to hire an S rank adventurer.]

"Well, I guess this answers your question. So, will you take those two jobs?" Asked Lux as he showed an amused smile at his friends.

"I'll take the frost dragon in Loit. It's the farthest mission, and I can teleport, so I'll be there the fastest. Moreover, I've wanted to test a few new magics I picked up against some dragons for a while." Rapidly answered Kira as she got up and prepared to leave. "If everything goes well, I'll be back tomorrow around lunch." She quipped before lifting her staff made of wood of the branch of the world tree and starting to chant an incantation before disappearing in less than five seconds.

"I can never get used to the speed of her spell release. A teleportation spell like that should at the very least take forty seconds to power up and complete its activation." Complained Aisha as she was jealous of her magic release speed.

The three men looked at each other with a helpless sigh. "You do remember that while you do not have much talent in fighting magic in healing, you are the best in the world. You can learn anything related to healing magic by seeing it just once, and you don't need chant to use it." Reminded Keat as he looked at the girl.

"Well, I'll take the dungeon and monsters in, Maby." Said the blond-haired swordsman as he left his seat and walked towards the stairs. "I'm not as fast as Kira, and the mission is more complicated, so I'll only be back in a few days." He continued before he disappeared in a burst of speed, leaving the three remaining members of their previous party to shake their heads.

"Well, I should also start doing some missions, but I won't be going very far. I have some acquaintances coming to join the guild." Said the green-eyed, slightly tanned lancer, Keat.

"Sure, have a great time." Waved Lux as Aysha did the same.

Seeing him leave, the young man turned towards the golden-eyed silver-haired healer. "As for us, I guess we'll properly set up your medical bay. There shouldn't be too many people at least the beginning since most take herb collection tasks."

"Alright, let's go!" She exclaimed as she took his hand and dragged him back to the first floor of the guild and to her small room where she would take care of her patients.

"So, is there anything you wanted to change? I'm pretty sure I got everything but don't hesitate to tell me what you need." He said gently, looking at the kind girl next to him.

She quickly looked at the large rectangular room and started with her demands. "I want to change the room. The head of the beds should all be facing the wall in front of the entrance, with enough room for a person to walk to the side of the bed. Finally, I want a movable wall in between each bed not to let them see each other as they are resting on their beds for a little privacy." She said, starting to move around the room while Lux began to place everything at her demand.

"How about your desk?" He asked as it was getting in the way of placing the beds.

"Place it next to the entrance with the chair's back at the wall. This way, I'll be able to supervise the wounded, and at the same time, I'll be able to regulate the flow and guarantee that no one leaves without paying." She finished with a grin when she talked about money before it turned back into her angelic smile.

'Right, never get between Aysha and her money.' Thought Lux as he chuckled a bit, thinking about the unlucky people who wouldn't want to pay. After all, to be a good healing mage, she learned how the body functioned adequately. As for a reason she was in the party of heroes, the heroes would say that she was as better at 'dismantling' people and monsters alike than healing them due to her perfect knowledge of the human body.

Aysha, to become powerful, had worked so hard on this path that she had created a body analysis spell after combining multiple magics, which worked on every live body, meaning it worked on anyone who had a body that included monsters. In a one-on-one fight, she was a monster as she would hit a few places on the opponent's body with a bit of magic on her finger, and she would make sure to have him crippled for the rest of his life.

Thankfully, with her dismantling talent of enemies, she was also able to 'rebuild' someone from scratch, so she was known as the most significant healer in existence when one added her healing spells that didn't need chants to be activated.

"Alright, are we good for the room?" Asked Lux an hour after they started working on rearranging her future office.

"Yes, that's perfect. Thanks!" Said the girl, happily, as she gave him another hug. "I'm a bit tired. I'll come back tomorrow morning." She continued as she took her stuff and walked towards the door of the guild building.

"Do you want me to bring you back?" He asked with slight worry as he knew that there were a lot of chances that she would never arrive at her house despite being simply a few minutes away from the guild.

"No, I'll be fine." She smiled before waving him goodbye and walking out.

As Lux looked at her leaving, he nodded slightly before muttering to himself. "Well, at least she left in the right direction. Hazel, keep an eye on her. If you notice that she's starting to get lost, notify me, and I'll go help her."

[Understood, master.] Replied Hazel as she put some of her attention on Aysha's direction.

Seeing that everything was fine with the adventurer's system keeping an eye on his friend, he walked back towards his private room on the fourth floor, where he directly went to take a shower. It was a habit he had to clean himself every night before bed as he felt well, cleaner after it.

By the time Lux finished his shower, he had asked Hazel he hadn't heard of in a while. "So, did she get home?" He asked with an eyebrow raised.

[After she got lost three times in a row, she called for my help and asked me not to tell you. She is currently home.] Answered Hazel as if someone asked her not to tell Lux, Lux was still her master, and his commands were always the most important ones.

"That's good then." Nodded the blue-eyed young man as he released a sigh and walked to his bedroom. "Wake me up at five tomorrow." He finally commanded before letting himself fall on his bed and immediately going to sleep.

[Understood.]. Quietly replied Hazel as she didn't want to awaken her now sleeping master. [Have good dreams.]
