"BABE, why did you leave me there?"

"I had to pick up my parcels," Sol told Quest while they were having lunch at the school cafeteria. This was the first time they met after "doing the deed" at the hotel a few days ago. After all, Quest had been absent from school for a few days. "Plus, you slept like a baby then, so I didn't want to wake you up."

Bullshit.

She left the hotel and left Quest in Natasha's capable hands because she had to meet people for the plan she was about to execute. Being the school gangster's trophy girlfriend was the least of her priorities.

[And I really did pick up some parcels. After all, I have to treat my "pets" well.]

Quest smirked, then he shamelessly wrapped his arms around her shoulders. "I slept well, didn't I? You know why?" He leaned down and gently bit her ear. "It's because you have worn me out."

[Really? In front of my pasta? Ew.]

But it wasn't like the other students could hear them. Everyone certainly witnessed their PDA, though. Still, no one had the guts to call them out for it.

Except for the person sitting across from her.

[Dusk Quijano.]

The poor guy was looking at her like he just stabbed his heart with a knife.

Then Eloise Venosa arrived and sat beside Dusk. The poor boy looked displeased by it. It looked like he didn't want to be in Eloise's presence because he stood up and left, even though he hadn't finished his lunch yet.

Eloise Venosa quickly chased after Dusk, of course.

[Are they shooting a drama?]

"Sol, should we do it again?" Quest asked playfully. "I live alone so we can go to my place later."

It looked like Natasha fucked Quest's brain out, huh?

She decided to go along with his mood since he was still useful to her. "Quest, did you have that much fun that night?"

"Hell yeah," Quest said energetically. "Well, I don't remember much aside from feeling great." He turned to her while playing with her hair. "Did you have fun, babe?"

"How can I not have fun when you were that good?" she said, lying straight to his face casually.

But she seriously had fun that night while listening to Natasha's report. Who knew Quest Venosa had loose lips when intoxicated? Thanks to that, she was close to the information that she needed to get.

"Anyway, the school is quiet today," she commented, to change the topic. "My classmates even greeted Ma'am Aira without sarcasm."

"Today might be a good day," Quest said with a smile, then he gently patted her head. "Maybe you're a lucky charm?"

Yeah, right.

"Maybe I am," Sol said, fully aware that she and Quest had different thoughts in mind. "I also feel like I'm the game changer here."

"WHAT?" Sol asked Kaia when she noticed she was staring at her while she was retouching her makeup in the restroom. Kaia was acting weird, and she couldn't help but get curious as to why she was behaving this way. "Spill it, Kaia. I have to go home early today."

Kaia bit her lower lip as if she was hesitating, then she looked at her with fear in her eyes. "Sol, can I borrow some money from you?"

"How much?" she asked, then she pressed her lips together after applying lip balm on them.

"Are you not going to ask what I'm going to do with the money?"

"I don't care."

"Sol…"

"What?" she asked impatiently. Kaia looked as pathetic as usual. She let out a sigh, then shook her head. "Fine. What do you need the money for?"

"I need to buy your hair."

"Excuse me?"

Kaia looked very stressed out when she pulled out her smartphone from her pocket, then she showed something to her. "Sol, this is the business of Eloise Venosa's faction."

She laughed while looking at the screen of Kaia's phone.

The tab showed a private website similar to ordinary online shops. But of course, the items sold on that shady website weren't your average goods.

Used women's underwear.

Nudes.

Dick picks.

And some other weird things were there.

Finally, she saw a neatly tied chunk of hair that looked familiar to her.

[Ah, it was my hair that Michelle bitch or something cut before.]

"So this is how her faction works, huh?" Sol asked, laughing while handing Kaia's phone back to her. "They cater to people's weird fetishes. But who are their usual clients?"

"I'm not sure," Kaia said hesitantly. "All I know is that the Grade 12 students in our school are the usual customers. I heard that even the students from a local college nearby shop at Eloise's store. But I'm not sure if that information is legit."

Interesting.

The gangsters in this school weren't small fries, huh?

"If we buy my hair from that online shop, how will we receive the item?" she asked curiously. "Will they deliver it through a courier? Or do we have to pick it up at a designated place?"

Kaia shook her head before she explained. "They have a designated place where the customers must pick up the items they bought. It's called 'Auction House.' Sometimes, several people are interested in the same product. If that happens, an auction would take place." She took out her phone and showed it to her again. "Look, several people are bidding for your hair."

If she didn't grow up in a toxic environment, she would have been shocked and disgusted by the things she was hearing now.

But she had seen worse, so she was pretty chill.

[For a business run by a bunch of middle-class kids, this is pretty thorough.]

"Bid for my hair," she said with a smile. "Double the amount of the price the highest bidder proposed."

"Are you sure, Sol?"

"Yep," Sol said excitedly. "Let's go to the Auction House."

Kaia looked scared, but she still nodded in the end. "Okay."
