Planning the escape

A few days have passed since I was rescued and taken to that house.

Brayan and his mother Briana were very kind and took care of me during these days, but despite all the affection they were giving me and all the affection I was getting, I couldn't stay there any longer.

* knock on the door *

"Hi, how are you feeling today?" asked Lady Briana as she entered the room.

"Much better, thanks," I replied politely.

"That's good then... Do you remember something that happened? We can help if possible."

"Not much, my thoughts are still a little confused" I lied, I didn't want them to know too much about me, not that I knew much about me to begin with "But I remembered my name, my name is Elora"

"Elora!? Good name, it's a good start, you can stay here as long as you need, no need to worry, your recovery comes first" She replied with a charming smile on her face "The meal is almost ready, get ready to eat "

"Alright, I'm heading to the kitchen soon"

Lady Briana left shortly after receiving my positive response, I watched her disappear from my sight and let out a sigh of relief.

"I have to figure out how to get out of here ASAP," I muttered to myself.

I got out of bed and changed my clothes, put on a gray wool dress with a brown leather coat, it was comfortable and warm, perfect for the cold, I tied my hair in a ponytail and before leaving the room I stopped to look at my reflection. in the mirror my eyes went black again, as did my hair, I don't know if it was a hallucination, but I had the feeling it wouldn't be the last time this would happen.

I went to the kitchen to make the meal, it was in the morning and I had been observing the day-to-day life of the mother and son couple for days.

Brayan left every day shortly after dawn and returned about half an hour later, Ms. Briana also got up shortly after dawn to prepare meals and household chores, during the day they rarely go out and sleep right after eight at night .

The only time I could go out unnoticed would be at night, when everyone was asleep, they would have to be silent so as not to make noise and interrupt my escape.

"I'm home" A voice coming from the door called my mind back, Brayan had come back, he saw me standing and asked with a worried look "Good morning, are you feeling better?"

"Yes, I'm much better, thanks for your concern and sorry for the inconvenience" I replied faking a grateful look, I really didn't understand how they could trust and show such concern for someone they found passed out in the middle of nowhere.

"Come on, let's eat, don't let the food get cold" Just then, Dona Briana came from the kitchen calling us for the meal.

I answered and walked towards the table, thanked me and sat down to eat, Brayan and Lady Briana smiled at me and I smiled back at them, they had no idea that at that moment my mind was making all the considerations for my escape.
