Preparations

"Elora!!! Good morning!"

The restaurant had just opened when I heard Arthur's cheerful voice, who was running through the establishment with his usual smile.

"Hi, good morning!" I returned the greeting as I went back to talking to Sabrina "Sabrina, can me and Arthur use one of the rooms upstairs? He will help me prepare for the Academy exam."

"Of course, feel free"

After receiving confirmation, Arthur and I went upstairs to the rooms to prepare the environment and start studying.

After completing the preparations, we sat at a table near the window, settled down and Arthur placed a stack of books and a notebook on the table as he spoke, "This is all the material that is charged in the test, we will mainly review and supplement the knowledge that you have, but before that I want you to solve this test" He concluded by handing me a set of papers with questions to be solved.

"I'm done" After about 40 minutes I handed the sheets back to Arthur to check the answers.

"Already!?" Arthur looked at me with confusion on his face. "He is sure?" he asked hesitantly.

"Yeah, I'm sure" I nodded as I continued. "If the exam is at this level there should be no problems" I said with a little disappointment, however, I knew that the Academy aimed to accept anyone who wanted to learn, regardless of social class, so they had to reduce the difficulty to those who they were not from one of the affiliated institutions.

Arthur took the sheet back and started checking it, with every passing minute he seemed to get more and more stunned, until he started looking at the paper with a silly face, as if his soul had go taking a walk for a while.

"Something wrong?" I asked confused.

"No, no, no" Finally coming to himself he continued. "You are a genius"

I raised an eyebrow intrigued by his comment and eyed him with interest waiting for him to continue.

"Your handwriting is perfect and your writing is flawless, your math math results are all correct too, your knowledge of history is amazing and to top it all off, your political dissertation is magnificent... You're a monster or what! ? How can you do a test of this level in such a short time?" Arthur looked at me stunned. "Or am I the dumb one? *mumble*"

"*laughs* Calm down Artur, you're not stupid, it's just that I've lived my whole life with my grandmother and as it was just the two of us I spent most of the day in her library since I was four years old, as a result I ended up learning a lot more than what was required for teenagers our age, moreover, I was the one who took care of most of the finances in our house, ranging from managing our savings to negotiating the products we made, so it can be said that I have more experience than others my age"

Calmly concludes while I appeasing Arthur "If the entrance test is at this level I shouldn't have any problems.

"*sigh* Yeah, you shouldn't have a problem getting a seat and maybe even getting into a special class" He nodded his head as he mulled over my words.

"But... Can I keep coming? I think I can tell you more about the academy and we can get to know each other better in this time."

"Of course and thanks for the support, it would be nice to have someone to talk to once in a while" I nodded and soon after I said goodbye after a short conversation.

"I hope the academy isn't as frustrating as the entrance test" I muttered to myself hoping it was worth the effort to attend the Royal Academy.
