Taking the exams (part 02)

In the first time, the written test would be held, it was a test of open questions involving literature, history, mathematics, astrology, philosophy, among other areas.

We had a total of 4 hours to solve all the test and without wasting time, I started to answer the questions right after receiving my papers.

Obviously the assessment was a notch or two above the questions Arthur had prepared for me, but nothing stopped me from answering the questions perfectly.

Just over an hour passed and I was over, I got up from my seat and walked to the base of the stage, I felt a few glances and murmurs as I passed, which I ignored and continued downhill until I reached the teacher in charge.

"I'm done" He said as he handed over the papers.

"Already!?" He asked me back with a dubious look.

"Yes" I handed in my test and walked out of the room, after leaving I found a bench near the garden to sit on and took a book from the bag I had taken to read.

About half an hour passed before I heard someone talking behind me. "You're really fast" I turned and found Brayan with a bitter smile on his face and consternation. "That's nothing" I replied with a shrug. "Want a book?"

"Yes, please" Brayan sat next to me and so we spent the rest of the time silent and focused each one of us on our reading.

After the written test, lunch followed and then the etiquette assessment, the participants were divided between boys and girls, where they would be assessed individually and in groups.

The ways of eating, greeting, talking, walking and dancing were evaluated.

I didn't have any big problems with that part, my moves were fluid and well trained, no mistakes or useless moves.

It took another 4 hours before it ended and the sun was already disappearing over the horizon.

I breathed a sigh of relief when it was all over.

I said goodbye to Brayan and walked out the gate without looking back, I was confident of the results and the only thing I needed to do was wait, the result would be published in a week, followed by interviews and enrollment right after that on the same day.

I looked up at the red-orange sky and walked towards the restaurant, Sabrina told me she would wait there as the establishment would be open late today because of the students who would celebrate and relax after their exams.

The cold wind brushed my face as I walked through the busy streets of the shopping district, my mind was calm and I was relaxed, all the tension I'd been feeling for the past two months melting away with the last rays of sunlight.

I arrived at the restaurant after walking for over half an hour, pushed open the door and found Sabrina's smiling eyes staring at me "Welcome my flower!"

"I'm back" I smiled back and felt happiness filling me, I went to the back room, changed and went back to help Sabrina.

How I wanted my days to continue always like this, filled with love, tenderness and happiness.
