Capture

Bryan's point of view:

As soon as the signal was given for us to act, all those who knew the plan, who were among the students and the staff, began to act without delay.

Fighting sounds followed throughout the forest as hidden enemies exchanged blows.

The plan was to capture them before they could attack, so we've waited until now to put it into action.

I ran into our campsite to do my part of the deal.

Passing through the door I saw the looks of fear present on the faces of the paralyzed students and I couldn't help but sigh inwardly when I murmured. "Looks like we have to raise the Academy's training difficulty level, not that I can blame them for being paralyzed with fear"

Ignoring the hundreds of looks that stared at me, I looked for the spy who was inside our school among the students. It didn't take long and I spotted my target who was already starting to run the distance.

"Capture her!" I yelled, snapping the other students out of their daze when they finally realized what was happening.

I ran towards the fugitive with all my strength, as fast as I could and chased her into the forest.

Fishing some daggers in my side bag that I carried with me, I took aim at the girl who ran when I hurled her toward her legs.

Unfortunately, I wrong in the first time and I cursed inwardly as I muttered how much easier it would be if Elora was here. But I knew she had other things to do.

Raising my focus once more, I focused on the people ahead carefully as my dagger plunged into her left leg.

*scream in pain*

She let out a muffled scream but didn't stop running, but rather increased her speed.

I picked up another dagger and threw it once more, this time hitting the right leg.

The girl couldn't take it anymore this time and fell over as she felt the sharp pain in her other leg that was hit.

I advanced and I reached in front of her, taking a rope from the bag, I tie her legs and arms in a tight knot as I turned to her and said. "You have nowhere else to run"

She turned your eyes to me and I was amazed to see that her eyes were cold and piercing like daggers.

Letting out a relieved sigh, I carried her on my shoulder ignoring her struggle and headed back to the tower.

Coming back, I saw that the students were all huddled in one place and looking at a person with long silver hair and golden eyes.

Seeing her, I felt my heart race as I recognized her.

All that relaxed aura she had when she was with us was gone and only an air of majesty surrounded her now, in front of her there were two more women, they also had silver hair and eyes but they didn't look as bright as the girl she was with was talking.

It was then that I realised. "This must be the blessing given to witches"

I approached slowly until I reached her side, she seemed to sense my presence when she smiled and said. "You're back, thanks for your cooperation"

I returned the smile when I replied. "I don't deserve your thanks, we have to thank you"

The whole operation seemed to be over and it lasted just over half an hour, the worst was over and we were finally able to breathe a sigh of relief.
