Prologue

Bryan's point of view:

Walking through the corridors of the imperial palace, one could perceive the magnificence present everywhere.

Looking at the stained glass windows decorated with several prominent characters from the history of the kingdom, the history of ascension that was passed down from generation to generation was visible.

In a small corner, it was possible to see beautiful ladies, they looked like immortal beings and were surrounded by nature and moonbeams.

"It's the Aires Family" That's what I thought as soon as my eyes wandered in that direction.

Looking away, I walked back through the halls until I came to a huge ornate golden door.

Stopping in front of the entrance to that room, I took a deep breath before knocking and asking permission to enter.

*Knock the door*

"Uncle, it's me"

"Oh Bryan, come in"

Receiving confirmation, the doors soon opened as I was greeted by a man, tall and majestic, in imperial robes seated on a throne.

He turned to me and with a slight smile asked. "It's rare for you to come visit me under normal conditions, what brought you here?"

Staring into those eyes that were the same color as mine, I raised my eyebrows as I continued to walk towards him. "Imperial uncle, you must know why I come here"

"You're after news of that girl again" He said with a peculiar expression.

"Yes" I didn't hesitate to answer.

In the last two years this fact has become almost a routine, as Emperor of a kingdom, my uncle would know the events faster than anyone.

He didn't answer me right away and just stared at me in a state of contemplation.

Ignoring his smoldering gaze, I walked over to a table located behind the throne and sat down, pouring myself a cup of tea and savoring it slowly.

It didn't take long for footsteps to sound behind me when I saw my uncle sit down across from me.

He looked back at me, though, this time with an understanding smile on his face. "Tell me Brayan, you like that girl right?"

I almost choked on my tea when I heard that question that had no qualms, dropping the cup on the table, I looked back at him when he said. "You are wrong, Your Majesty, we were good friends and she is a great ally, hence my interest in knowing her whereabouts"

"Serious!" He said with an astonished face. "It's not what it seems to me"

I ignored her teasing and got back to the main subject. "So? Any news?"

"Unfortunately or fortunately not, when the Aires make a move it's because something is about to happen, we've had two peaceful years across the Five Realms and we hope it stays that way for some time to come"

A trace of disappointment crossed my eyes, but I hid it well and after exchanging a few more words with my uncle, I left the throne room and returned to my quarters.

Entering my room and collapsing onto the bed, I couldn't help but look up at that sky blue ceiling and mutter to myself. "Nothing again..."
