The Aires Residence

Arthur's point of view:

The journey to the meeting point took about half an hour, we would still have to wait a while until someone came to meet us and took us to our true destination.

The chariot had stopped in a region close to a dense forest, it was a region that was not controlled by any specific power and was considered one of the wild areas without an owner.

"Looks like your assumption might actually be right" I said softly as I looked at Brayan.

"Yes, I think the same too" Merida continued.

"But why did they choose here to meet all five Emperors?" I asked intrigued.

"It could be for security reasons" Said Brayan.

"Yes it can be" I agreed.

It was really intriguing how carefully this event was being handled, but for them to have made this decision, there must have been a plausible reason.

Half an hour later, the sounds of horses' hooves hitting solid ground could be heard. "Very punctual!" I exclaimed inwardly.

There were five horses and each of the women who sat on them was a beauty in her own right.

Everyone got out of the carriages to see who had arrived, the five beauties got off their horses and walked slowly towards us.

The woman in the lead was an old acquaintance of ours, she hurried over and greeted everyone present. "Thank you all very much for your presence, for those who don't know me I am Joyce, leader of one of the branches of the Aires Family and I will take everyone to the designated place" Said Joyce with a charming smile on her face.

"It's no trouble please lead the way" Said the Emperor of the Kingdom of Avalon.

After exchanging a few quick greetings, they all returned to their carriages and followed the five women.

The carriages continued on their way for about another half hour, and at this point, everyone had to get off and continue on foot along a path into the forest.

I could see that some of the Emperors were dissatisfied with the situation, however they could only swallow their dissatisfaction and move on.

We walked for another twenty minutes and, reaching the end of the trail, we soon saw a magnificent mansion that looked like it had come out of a painting.

It was really unbelievable that something like this could exist in the middle of a forest and not have been discovered until today.

The mansion looked like a miniature palace and its entire structure was a pure, pristine white color, to be more exact, it looked more like a sanctuary, ethereal and out of this world.

Joyce, who was in front of us, turned around and with a proud smile on her face, introduced everyone to the place. "Welcome to the Aires residence!"
