The Reunion (part 02)

"Why have you been missing the last few years?" Merida asked, already impatient.

I chuckled lightly when I replied, taking another bite of my cake. "After that event some things happened, the traitor we had identified was killed and his body found in the forest around Brigido, most likely he was on the run and was killed during it, they also tried to kidnap me shortly after and all this forced us to to retreat and hide our activities temporarily"

They looked at me in amazement, they probably had no idea that all this had happened, a fact that was already to be imagined since all the news had been suppressed and no one outside knew about it.

"So why did you decide to summon all of us now?" Brayan asked intrigued.

"The first reason is to let you know the latest updates about the 'An Sinnsir', the second reason is for everyone to be aware of our future plans and the third reason, it will come as a surprise for the end, however it's not a big deal. thing and just a formality"

After they heard my words, the atmosphere seemed to have relaxed significantly and we started talking about our experiences over the last few years.

I had traveled most of the time, both to familiarize myself with the Aires structure and to get to know the other members of the family and start putting the plan into practice.

Arthur and the others seemed to have gone through something similar, they were all getting ready to inherit their parents' job.

We talked for about half an hour and as I watched the emperors who exchanged words from time to time in their seats, I could see that they were starting to get impatient.

They were already displeased at being called here without any explanation and now they were forced to wait, anyone would be irritated by this situation.

It wasn't long before they couldn't take it anymore and the red-clad emperor, who I assumed was Aodh, with a grim face, turned to look at me and asked, not bothering to hide his irritation. "Little girl, you invited us here for a tea party? If that's why,, I'll have to let you know that I'm not so free and I have a lot of other business to attend to."

When his words echoed through the hall, at the same time everything was silent, I felt many pairs of eyes on me as if waiting for an explanation, since they didn't understand either, but I just calmly ignored them.

The Emperor of Aodh Realm seemed even more annoyed that I had ignored him and was already getting up to leave when a calm, composed voice reverberated through the hall.

"Aodh, you are still as impatient as ever, I still wonder how you became emperor"

The Emperor seemed to freeze momentarily as he turned his gaze to the woman who had just entered the hall.

She was tall and had long black hair, her eyes were vibrant and sharp, dark as the veil of the night, she was dressed in a silver gown and exuded an air of authority that made anyone who looked at her feel in awe of her.

If they looked closely, they could tell that she and I were alike and soon, everyone knew her identity when Empress Genevieve exclaimed in surprise. "Arlene!?"
