The Debutantes Ball (part 07)

The next day, as I had planned, I spent the morning with Brayan and the others, and in the afternoon I went to get ready for the dance that was to be held that night.

All the decor was already in place in the ballroom, everything was decored in silver and gold.

The hall as a whole was divided into three sections, one with tables for the guests, an area with a long table so you could help yourself and another area open for dancing.

Finished checking everything I went back to my room where they were already waiting for me so I could get ready.

Afternoon passed and soon it was night, everyone had already been guided to the hall and enjoyed the good food and drink and waiting for the hostess.

At this moment I was in one of the rooms overlooking the hall, watching everything unfold from a small and discreet window.

So far, the dance went on without any interruption and everyone enjoyed the moment of leisure and socialization.

As I was immersed in the panoramic view I had, I soon heard a beautiful voice sound from behind me.

"Elora! Mom is back!" I turned around and soon saw my mother coming through the door.

She was stunning as always and this time she wore a long white dress with long sleeves, on the skirt of the dress you could see embroidered the Aires Family coat of arms in gold and beautiful symbols, similar to what appeared on us when using the blessing, too was embroidered in the region of the sleeves and collar of the dress.

I, too, was dressed like a dress of the same pattern and all the other witches wore white dresses with gold edges slightly different from what my mother and I wore.

Seeing me turn to her and smile, my mother also broke into a beautiful smile as she exclaimed proudly. "My daughter really is a beauty!"

Hearing her comment I felt my cheeks heat up a little but then I veered off the subject as I said it. "Was she looking for me?"

"Oh yeah, we'll be down in ten minutes, are you ready?" She asked as she approached and sat down next to me.

"Yes, all set"

"Great so"

Ending the brief conversation, she said goodbye and said she would be back in ten minutes so we could officially announce the start of the debutante ball.

Returning my gaze to the small window I continued to silently contemplate for a few minutes and after mentally preparing myself, I got up and walked towards the door.

Passing by her I soon saw my mother and Joyce talking in the hallway and with a resolute look I declared internally. "Let the dance begin"
