Recognition (part 05)

Neila's point of view:

Looking at those words for a while, I fell into contemplation.

"From chaos everything came and that's where all sins are healed"

"We thank the rulers of the universe for maintaining order"

"As bearers of your voice, we thank you for your trust in us"

"We offer our flesh and blood"

"To show them our position and express our gratitude"

I had a feeling it would be of great importance so I included it in the notes to be presented in a month's time.

Here most likely was a ritual temple and it was a fact that the ruins at Genevieve were also related to the Primal Chaos tribe.

We continued the reconnaissance of those ruins for the rest of the night following the guidelines that were presented to us.

Exploration by night, we left in the morning and only then returned at night.

Soon, a week passed and we finished reconnaissance of the first corridor, leaving only the last one.

However, we were in no hurry.

Soon the group sent by the organization would arrive and at this moment I was hiding on the outskirts of the ruins, waiting for their appearance.

I was the leader of this group and also the one in charge of ascertaining the arrival and departure of the enemy group and as I was an assassin, it was more convenient for me.

It didn't take long for them to show up.

They were made up of a small group, just five people, all in black hooded robes, a hallmark of their membership.

Their leader was on alert and was watching his surroundings cautiously to make sure there was no one else there.

It was a pity they were doomed to fail, I wouldn't be discovered easily.

Seeing them enter, I waited patiently.

Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, and then a day passed.

They didn't stay long and after about a day and a half had passed, I saw them come out of the ruins with grim expressions.

Apparently they couldn't find anything either.

My lips curved silently between the treetops, watching them with cold eyes.

They wouldn't win so easily!

At least not while we, the Aires Family, were here.
