Recognition (part 04)

Brayan's point of view:

After we parted ways three days passed before we finally found the ruins.

If we didn't pay attention it would surely go unnoticed.

All around her was covered with vegetation, camouflaged among the green of a forest on the outskirts of Aran.

Entering the ruins, we were soon greeted by a golden decoration and its interior was very well preserved.

"Looks like the situation here is the same as in the central ruins" I heard one of the witches comment.

"Yes, so our assumptions may be true, all six ruins are connected" Continued another.

"Everyone split up, we'll explore this hall first and then we'll go deeper" Commanded the leader of the group at that time.

Everyone nodded in agreement and fanned out.

Passing the walls and statues, I looked at the engravings engraved there.

Unlike what was said to have been found in the central ruin, the designs here appeared to be different.

It was like the performance of a ritual but for some reason something seemed to be missing.

I watched them for a while before I gave up trying to decipher them and started recording those figures on a sheet of paper.

* * *

A few hours later, we left that hall and past the hallway were two more hallways.

Deciding to enter all in one first, we followed one of them and when we reached the other side we soon arrived at a small temple, most likely used for some kind of ritual.

We were all amazed at the wealth present there, however, we curbed our greed and continued to survey the entire region.

Arriving at the small altar in the temple, just behind on a stone slab, some phrases in ancient words lay there.

"From chaos everything came and that's where all sins are healed"

"We thank the rulers of the universe for maintaining order"

"As bearers of your voice, we thank you for your trust in us"

"We offer our flesh and blood"

"To show them our position and express our gratitude"

Seeing those sentences, the feeling that something was missing became stronger and with each passing moment I was more and more sure that the path we had taken was the right one.

The ruins could really give us an answer.

Having finished the analysis in that region, I soon moved to another place and continued my work.

The day when we would find an answer might not be far off!
