Deep Sleep

Arlene's point of view:

Looking at the beautiful young woman lying peacefully on the bed, a feeling of helplessness surged through me.

She had been in this situation for about two days now and there was no sign of her awakening.

Taking one last look at her, I got up and walked to the exit, closing the door behind me I let out a soft sigh and headed to the office.

Looking at the movement around the mansion, everyone went about their routine as if nothing had happened.

To avoid unnecessary disturbance the news that the Matriarch had been in a deep sleep for more than two days was controlled.

Averting my gaze from the people passing by, I continued on my way and less than five minutes later I entered the office located on the second floor of the west wing of the mansion.

Passing through the door I soon saw the few people who were waiting there in search of news.

Seeing them all eagerly get up, I shook my head slightly with an expression filled with weariness and worry.

"She still doesn't seem to wake up?" Asked one of the witches present there with obvious concern in her voice.

"No, it's still the same" I said as I sat in the host's seat. "There are no indications that it was poison, spell or curse, which leads me to think that it is most likely the consequence of a prophetic dream"

"But a prophetic dream shouldn't result in this situation right?" Joyce asked.

"Yes, it shouldn't." I said as paused for a moment. "But Elora's case is a little special, everything indicates that it's a prophetic dream and in her situation, the dream went further, breaking the barrier of the real and unreal, which makes me assume her soul was taken to a time space different, experiencing the prophecy instead of just a vague memory"

When I finished my words, the whole room was silent, everyone here understood that Elora's blessing was different from all the others, making it as close as possible to the reincarnation of a God.

So it wasn't strange that something of such magnitude should happen.

"Is there really nothing we can do?" Questioned Neila to no one in particular.

Everyone pondered that question in silence. What could we do?

The Matriarch was the pillar of the Aires Family, if anything happened to her, turbulent waves would spread across the Five Realms.

While everyone remained silent, a knock on the door broke the depressing mood.

"Come in" I said straightening my posture.

Seeing the person entering a strange feeling came over me as I stood up and asked anxiously. "Something happened?"

The one who came in was the one in charge of watching Elora's condition, reporting if there was anything wrong.

She hesitated for a while, obviously trying to find words to explain the situation.

Taking a deep breath, she finally gathered her courage as she spoke in a deep voice. "I think you better see for yourself"
