Kadin stood tall as the leader of the Lycans as they howl at their leader. The Lycan is home as his pendant tells who he is. The Lycan prince of the royals, "The Lycan prince is home!" The clan cheered as Kadin changed back to a human. He looks at his pack as they still cheered for him being home. His father smiled at him, a smile that said, I'm proud of you, and he could feel it. Jace ran to him, "Waita go." Jace said as he pulled Kadin into a hug. He patted his brother, "Thanks, Jace." He told him as they pulled away from each other. Their father ruffled their hair as they exited the arena.
A Vampire felt a high-powered wave, 'I have to tell papa right away.' The princess thought to herself as she ran into the throne room. Her father sighed, "Harley, what have I told you about running through the castle." Cole asked his daughter, "Well, you see about that, Lycan leader has awaked." The fourteen-year-old told her father, "What? You felt the magical energy?" He questioned as she gave him a nod. Harley can feel the magical energy of supernatural beings, "Yes." She told him with a smile. Cole smiled, 'Know we can destroy him once and for all.' He chuckled to himself.
Harley Cullens is a Vampire who was supposed to grow up to hate the lycanthrope clan. She couldn't hate the opposite side no matter how hard she tried to. She was, raised to think that the Lycans were evil, "Hey pa is there a reason why? Do you hate the Lycans?" She asked as he paused, 'I forgot she could read minds.' He sighed, "Papa, answer me." She asked him, "A reason for hating them? How about taking your sister and elder brother away from me?" Cole's words were cold as he walked away from her, "Now go practice your violin." As Harley left the throne room, he told her harshly, 'What a nuisance girl, she can be so frustrating sometimes.' He thought, 'So dad thinks I'm a nuisance? I need some fresh air and to ditch violin lessons.' She thought to herself as she floated out of her window.
The young Vampire floated over the trees as the night sky was full of stars. She saw a boy her age on Lycan territory and floats down to him, "Boy, you're on Lycan territory; why is that?" She asked as she got on the grass below. Kadin rosin an eyebrow, "I'm a lycanthrope that's, why." Kadin told the Vampire. "A Lycan for real?" Harley asked with enthusiasm. Kadin smiles at her, "Yeah, and you're a Vampire." He told her, "How did you know?" She questioned, "I can tell by your scent." He told her, "Oh, that's cool." She said with a smile. Kadin looked at her red hair and golden orbs, "So what's your name?" He asked, "Harley, and yours?", "The names Kadin." He said as they laugh together. They talked for hours into the night as they share secrets that no one knew. Kadin and Harley started to grow a boned, "Hey Harley, what's your last name?" He asked, "Promise that you won't hate me?" She spoke softly, "I promise Harls, and then I'll tell you mine." He told her, "My last name is Cullens.", "Mine is Dreavn." As Kadin told her, that she froze a little, "You're the Lycan Prince." She sounded kind of scared, "And you're the Vampire Princess. I won't hurt you, I promise. Please don't be afraid of me, Harls." His words were sincere, and his voice was gentle as she gave him a nod.
Harley and Kadin had to part ways so that they could go home. The elder's brother of the Vampire clan waited for his boss, "So your working for my little bro?" The Lycan asks with a low glower, "Jace, you know you, my sister, and I are doing what is right for our younger siblings." The Vampire told the Lycan, "Yes, Aaron, I know that now be a good little blood-sucker and piss off." Jace told him as Aaron shoot daggers at him, "Hey, you two sound like an older married couple." Aaron's sister Lulu snicked, "Shut up, Lulu." Aaron told her as Kadin walks into the room, "Would you all get along please it's hard enough that you both have betrayed your father." The young Lycan sighed; he saw the two Vampires bow, "We're sorry, our prince." "You both are royalty as well. I don't expect you to bow," Kadin said as he sighed again.
It has been months since Kadin and Harley met each other. Harley sat on her bedroom window sill as she thought about Kadin, 'His gray orbs and jet-black hair were so captivating. His laugh, smile, everything makes me smile and happy.' She smiles to herself as her father knocked on her door, "Harley, I want to apologize. I shouldn't have snapped at you. I'm sorry, my little bat; It's just I lost your brother and sister. I don't want to lose you too." Her dad's voice was full of guilt, "I forgive you, papa." She said as she told him she was off to bed. She drifted off to a deep slumber. She looked at her surroundings as she saw Kadin as he stood in front of her. He looked a lot older, about twenty-six or so, "Kadin, what are you doing in my room?" She asked the Lycan, "What do you mean, Harls? We've lived together for six years now." He kissed her, Harley's eyes widened, 'He's kissing me?' So many thoughts ran through her head. Harley breaks the kiss, "I just met you. Why would you kiss me?" She asks as he parts his lips, "We met thirteen years ago. What's going on with you, Harls?" His voice is so kind and caring towards Harley. She smiled at how much he loves and cares for her. She kissed his forehead, "Thank you for loving me, Kadin." she told him as he kisses her hand, "My pleasure, my love." He said with a smile.
She wakes up, "It was just a dream?" Harley softly spoke as she bit her lip. She blushed, 'I hope it becomes a reality, even if it's forbidden. ' As she thought of her dream. Kadin gasped as he woke from his dream, 'Harls and I living together. Can that happen, even though it's forbidden to merge bloodlines?' He'll need to talk to Harley. If that's valid, then they'll be free to breed the bloodline. To create a hybrid, half-Vampire, and half-Lycan, which is an abomination for the clans. Both sides would willingly kill it. It could kill without hesitates; both sides would be out-matched. How could that surpass if the two clans' were to find out? They'd have to kill no matter who the creator's parents were. They would have to die. If one of the families were to risk hiding the bloodline family, they had to die for their treasonous act.
Kadin couldn't take it; he had to see Harley. He runs out into the woods as he shifts to his Lycan form, 'I need to get to Harls.' As his thought was on overload, Harley could feel the magical energy, 'I can hear Kadin's thoughts.' She got out of bed. As she ran to Kadin, she could hear howling, "Kadin, I'm coming." She said as she moved faster. Kadin's howl set the other Lycans off as the thought of Harley racing through his mind. Kadin ran quicker than you could hear the ground crushing underneath his big paws, "My pack, don't come." Kadin howled once more to tell them to stand down and stay home. As the pack leader, he had that power even at such a young age. He didn't know what to do, 'Kadin, I'm almost to you.' Kadin heard Harley's thoughts. Harley saw a big gray Lycan as she looked at it, "Kadin, is that you?" She asks as the young Lycan nodded. He walked up to her slowly, to not frighten her.
Harley walked to Kadin, trying not to be alarmed as he came closer. His Lycan form changed back to human, "I'm sorry if I scared you, Harls. I had to talk to you." He said as he walked to her, "It's ok, Kade. What do you need to tell me?" Harley said as she stepped closer. Kadin's shirt had been ripped to shreds as the moonlight shined on him. He looked at Harley, "I had a dream about us." He said as she grabbed his hand, "I did too. Does that mean we're connected?" Harley asked, "I think it does but, the only way we would know is by our wavelengths." He told her as they stayed quiet to listen. Their heartbeats were in sync with each other. Harley gasped, "Kadin, we're soulmates." She whispered as he hugged her. Kadin took her by the hand, "Would you like to see your siblings?" He asked as she gave him a nod. He shifted as he put Harley on his back, 'Hold on.' She read his mind. He dashed at seventy miles. Kadin moved through the woods as he reached the Lycan's border. Harley held on tightly as Kadin came to a complete stop as he unshifted his Lycan form. Aaron and Lulu waited for their young leader's return. Harley let go of Kadin as he set her down gently.
After Harley met her siblings again, our Lycan leader required a change of clothes. Kadin had to call a meeting, "Now I know what we're all here for." The Lycan stated, "We know Kadin. Hey, why is my sister so clingy to you?" Aaron asked Harley, still held Kadin's hand. Harley squoze his hand tight as she rubbed her thumb in small circles. She was nervous as her brother listened to their heartbeats, "They're soulmates." Aaron said as Raker, Kadin's second in command of just walked through the door. Raker saw the Vampire siblings as he shifted into Lycan.
Raker Crave is the second youngest of the Crave family. Their families have been best friends for centuries. As Raker growled at them as he shifted, "I suggest you know your place, Raker." Kadin growled as his gray eyes flashed his Lycan blue. Raker unshifted as his all-black orbs went back to their green. Raker sighed as he looks at the Vampires in the room, "Apologies." He said as he bowed to the royals, "It's fine." The Vampire siblings told him.
They figured out a plan to bring the clans together. If there's one endeavor, they can both agree. To keep the humans unaware of their existence. Kadin had a couple of human friends that he'd hang around once in a while: He was going to break their most sacred law. He would show them his Lycan form. Why because that was their only opposition. He wanted the bloodshed to end; it was time for things to change for Lycans and Vampires. Kadin wouldn't listen to reason, "Kid, you know what it means if you were to do this." His brother said in a panicked tone. He knows what will come out of this, "Yes, Jace, I know it's suicide. It's the only way to make the Vampires see reason. To redeem me for mom and to protect our pack." Kadin walked off as his brother tried to stop him. He watched his little brother break into a sprint. Aaron barred Jace from going after him, "You stupid bat let me through!" Jace shouted as he fought to break out of Aaron's grip. Aaron glared at him, "He knows what he's doing. Cool off, mongrel." The Vampire hissed at Jace as he let him go. Jace growled as he ran to get his father. His father told him what Aaron said, "He knows what he's doing, leave him be." Jack told his eldest as he had faith in his second son. Unlike Jace, Aaron can foresee the future. He knew his boss would be ok after all. He'd lead them into a new golden century.
