Even though she looked so small and delicate, Isabella's mana was overwhelming. When Leonus tried to suppress it, the force was too much. He passed out instantly and woke up the next day with a high fever.

Thankfully, he recovered quickly.

But as soon as he opened his eyes, Johannes—Isabella's grandfather—threw him out of the room. He wasn't allowed near her anymore. What made it worse was that Isabella still hadn't woken up. That thought alone made Leonus's chest tighten with helplessness.

And then… just one day after meeting her, she was taken away—back to her homeland, the Loire Empire.

But Leonus didn't give up. He used Teleportation to follow her, even though he was still learning how to control the spell. But the spell was difficult and took a huge toll on his mana. It was exhausting—and with his young body, he could only manage to travel that far once or twice a week.
