"So… where exactly are we going?"

Leonus asked, his voice low and flat, clearly not thrilled as he rode beside Balthazar.

"The Weedberry Forest." Balthazar replied, grinning like he'd just revealed a grand secret.

Leonus gave him a long, unimpressed stare. His silence said more than any words could.

"Don't look at me like that," Balthazar muttered. "You've been sulking like a grumpy old man these days."

At that, Leonus's expression twitched ever so slightly—but he didn't deny it.

"Anyway," Balthazar went on with a dramatic sigh, "I figured a little family vacation might do us all some good."

Leonus exhaled through his nose. "To the Weedberry Forest? You do know that place is crawling with S-Grade monsters, right?"
