As soon as Leonus dismounted his horse, Randall came jogging over with his usual bright grin.

"Randall." Leonus muttered, giving a small nod in acknowledgment.

"It's been so long!" Randall said, practically bouncing with excitement. He paused mid-step, giving Leonus a once-over—then his eyes widened.

"Wait a second… You're taller than me?! No way!"

Leonus started to respond with a shrug, his tone almost teasing. "Of course, I—"

He paused, the words fading from his lips. Something flickered across his face, subtle but enough to make Randall blink in confusion.

Leonus shook his head. "…Nothing. Don't worry about it."

Just then, another voice rang out.

"Huff… Huff… Brother! How could you just leave me behind?!"

Azleza came running after them, her cheeks puffed from exhaustion.
