86. The New Chairman

Mahendra arrived early in the room with the semicircular ceiling. He drummed his fingers on the table. While waiting, he went back to reading the biographies of Tarantula's founders, observing who their families were. For a moment, he seemed to stop after finding the name Intan Sasmita Salim. He smirked for a few seconds. He resumed reading the file again, flipping the pages and paused again when something caught his eyes.

It was a family portrait that showed the youngest male in the Diningrat family.

Hendra's brows were knitted together. It was as if he knew that familiar face. He read the names of each family member that was under a woman named Clara and her son Rio. Clara's face was zoomed in by Hendra's blue eyes. Seconds later, he became aware of how the woman in the photo was similar to his own grandfather. They looked alike. He was so lost in his deep thoughts that he didn't notice he was no longer alone in the semicircular room.
