114. The Hot Day

The driver peered in the rearview mirror above his head to steal a look at the passengers behind him. The woman who was called Mrs. Indah fell asleep again, closing her eyes.

"Anantha," Aliana called the driver who was busy expressing his grievances. Her older brother was leaning his elbow against the car door, while the back of his clenched fist was stuck against his cheek.

"What??" Anantha glanced at Aliana lazily.

"Tch, why are you always so annoying?" Aliana reproached. She was no longer glancing out of the corner of her eyes but staring pointedly at him. The look on Anantha's face was calling for a beating.

"It's just a traffic jam! Look at me! I have to leave my little baby just to find you a wife," Aliana grumbled.

"I'm just annoyed, stuck like this, I wasted a lot of time," Anantha moved to hit the car horn button.
