Collar Spell

JACOB

I sat in the bedroom that I used as my study and carefully concentrated on the loop of leather in my hands, carefully weaving delicate threads of magic. I didn't yet know enough about the brain to know where to send the tiny little thread of lightning that was meant to give pain, but that was okay. I was still only in beginner-level biology, so we hadn't covered the relevant material about the brain yet. For the same reason I also couldn't make the parts of the spell that would prevent a human from becoming a slave, or a beast-kin from becoming a master, or the part of the enchantment that would attach itself to the master's brain, allowing him to control the collar like another body-part.
