Tears

Jane bent over the mutilated body that lay on the table. A sinister grin curved her lips. She wanted to end Harley's life as slowly and painfully as possible. Jane also wanted to kill the bastard that clung to life in Harley's stomach. She would wait till the very last minute before killing the baby.

Take a knife, Jane slowly slides it over Harley's stomach, cutting a thin line into her skin.

Harley opens her dried lips, voice a whisper. "Please, Jane, don't. Don't kill my baby."

Jane snickers, "You aren't going to live long enough to worry about the baby. And no one will ever know what happened to you. Daddy and Mama won't even care. Because you are worthless."

Tears roll down Harley's face as she thinks of the little life she carries. No one would ever meet the baby; she would never get to cuddle the child. Feel the warmth of a child on her chest. All because of her younger sister's hatred and jealousy.

Harley's breath becomes weaker as she loses more blood. All of a sudden, cramps flash through her stomach. Trying to curl up but unable to do so, Harley bites her lower lip as blood trickles out between her legs. This was it; she was losing the precious child she so longed for.

Jane laughed as she watched the blood slowly trickle out.

"You are finally losing the bastard. Here, let me help you along."

Raising her arm, Jane slammed the knife deep into Harley's stomach, causing her to be unable to hold her scream back.

Jane laughed loudly, watching the blood gush out. Her voice was full of hatred, "Die already, I am bored and tired of being here. I want to be with Jack and enjoy all the time we have without you around."

Harley could feel her life slipping away. The darkness slowly edged closer. Then, opening her dry mouth, she shouts hoarsely at Jane.

"You will pay for this, for killing my child. If there is a second chance at life, I will make you pay for everything you have ever done to me."

Jane laughs again, lifting the knife slides it across Harley's neck ending her life.

"Go to hell bitch, and take your bastard with you. You will never be as good as me."

Dropping the knife, Jane turns to look at Jack, smiling. "It's finished. Let's go. We can burn this house down with her in it. And no will ever know the difference."

Jack nods, sliding his arms around Jane's waist, his eyes flickering over the dead body lying there. For a moment, his heart felt like it was in a knot. But shrugging, he dismissed it just as quickly.

Later that night, it hit the news that the Heiress Harley Lee had died in a house fire. Nathan and Slyvia Lee were devastated about losing their oldest daughter. Later that month, their youngest daughter Jane Lee ended up marrying Jake Smith. It was a grand wedding. The most extravagant wedding New York had seen. A few months after that, the Lee family announced that Jane Lee Smith was the new heiress.
