*Reborn in HxH as Maha's sister with basically immortality.** 
In my first life, I was a CEO. I had experience with negotiations, remaining calm in frightening situations, and being completely emotionally detached. 
Yes, I know. Typical cliche backstory. 
But for me, that was my life. 
I had the average childhood - books, movies, anime, school, and studying. 
I spent middle school waisting my life away, reading manga, watching anime, reading romance, watching sitcoms... and then I realized how my life wouldn't get anywhere like this. 
I had always despised couch potatoes, and I was slowly turning into one. 
So I finished reading and watching my current favorite manga and anime, Hunter X Hunter, and started studying. 
It turned out, I was a prodigy. I 
had astonishingly accurate memory - I could remember things just by looking and hearing them once. 
I expanded my knowledge by a LOT, and after graduating, I started my company. 
Alas, after my company reached #1 in the world, my family died in a car crash, and my closest friends betrayed me... (yes, I know. My life story is so common that if this were a book, no one would feel an ounce of pity.) 
I grew detached from the world. 
There was no entertainment, just work, boredom, sleep, work, sleep, boredom, work.... An endless cycle. 
Hearing an assassin would come, I wrote a will giving away everything to my business partner.  
After writing the will, I willingly drank the most lethal poison (since the assassin apparently knew I had become immune to most poisons after taking a class from the weapons master) and died peacefully, hoping my next life would be a little more exciting... and that I would have more people to rely on. 

I opened my eyes, unsure if I would be met with Heaven or Hell's gates, and found myself... facing a white wall, with noise and energy surrounding me. 
I looked around cautiously before realizing I could barely move my head. 

The last thing I heard was the word "Zoldyck..." before I passed out.

It's currently a little past midnight over here. 


I'm really sorry, but my posts might be infrequent this month. 


I'm working on something, but I have so much work that I don't have time at all. 


I'm not trying to make excuses, I just wanted to let you guys know why I'm not posting much. 


I'm literally getting 5 hours of sleep, and I'm misspelling and rewriting this. 


Sorry for complaining on you guys, I guess I'm kind of making excuses. 


Anyway, if you want, you can just check in again next month if something. 


I've also kind of hit "authors block" or whatever it's called. 


I'm lacking inspiration, and I'm really dissatisfied with the chapter I'm currently working on. 


I'm just making the chapters right now up as I go, sort of a spur of the moment short ark. 


I'll try to get some chapters out, but please don't expect much. 


Anyway, thanks for reading this, if anyone did. 


I just felt really bad that everyone might be waiting. 


It might be because I'm so sleepy and lacking my normal consciousness, but I'm abandoning the mature author persona and I'll just tell everyone, I'm tired and need rest. 


I'm not abandoning this, don't worry. Just infrequent posts. 


Hopefully I'll get back on track next month (or is it next year…?) so wait for me! 


Hopefully my motivation will strike and I'll release a chapter or a few. 


I'm just writing this because I felt pressured and like people might be checking my page every day, like I do (checking notifications). 


I'll probably respond to any comments, so feel free to give me any suggestions or inspiration.


If you've read everything up to this chapter, you know Mizuki is about to enter the drug facility. I'm kind of working on the description, but I seriously have no idea what it would look like. 


If anyone has any ideas, please let me know. If not… well, don't be too disappointed with my upcoming chapter that I've barely started.

Plus, since it's the holiday month, part of the month I'll just be literally taking a break. 


I was hoping to get a chapter out before then, but it might not be possible. Thank you for staying with me, and I hope you wait for me. 


(I'm not trying to be cringy or whatever but I don't know what else to write. My brain isn't functioning well right now… sorry.)


Sorry if my exhausted state is affecting you, it might have unconsciously leaked into my writing but I'm too tired to change it right now.


When I'm back from whatever stage this is, I'll probably delete this "chapter."

I really do appreciate it, and I'm very grateful and thankful to you all (including the ones that are just in it for the story and didn't realize this was an author's note until they started reading it and decided to finish the chapter for the heck of it).


Sorry if I seem immature or whatever, it's just how I get when I get sleep deprived. Or low on sleep.

Sorry to the people that don't care about my life, by the way. But I've decided to take into account the need for sleep in my life. I'm ruining my sleep schedule and I'm spending too much time writing this, so… bye I guess!
