Princess...

He stared at her with a great level of intensity which Cyan felt was familiar.

'Is that not...?' He wondered as he looked at her. The longer he looked at her, the stronger the feelings were coming back which got him thinking if it was really her.

Cyan tried to match his intense gaze but when she could no longer handle it, she asked him, "Your Majesty, have you seen me from somewhere before?"

"Have I?" He asked back after a few more second of staring.

She sighed.

"Is this the General that you were saying would help us?But she is a woman." Richard said to Livius in what he thought was a whisper.

Cyan's eye went straight to him. She glared at him, eyes terribly cold, he could not help but shudder in fear.

"Do you have any problem with the fact that I am a woman?" She asked him in a lethally calm manner. Her voice was clear and loud.

Richard looked up and realized that everyone's gaze was on him. He didn't know what to say as he looked at Cyan who coldly looked back at him.

He felt uncomfortable under her gaze. Something about it greatly unnerved him.

Rita saw the tight condition in which her husband was and thought of a way to salvage him from embarrassing himself. "What he meant to say was that he was surprised to see such a beautiful woman in a position of strength such as that of a General." She said loudly, smiling confidently.

The people gasped.

King Nixon smirked amusingly. He motioned for the girl, Lilac, to move closer to him. She did and he whispered something into her ears. She nodded and left the hall with two soldiers.

...

Immediately her lips connected to his, Steve felt a tremble down his body. Yoddal's eyes were already closed.

She did not feel him resisting or trying to pull away so she went deeper into his mouth, wrapping her hands round his neck.

She released a breathy sigh, the sound traveling straight to Steve's groin.

He was surprised at his body's reaction. Why was he feeling this way?

His eyes fluttered close and open. This was all foreign to him and he didn't know what to do. Yoddal's hand tightened around his neck. He noticed her face was flushed red.

He was about to wrap his own hands around her waist when they both heard a loud gasp. They disentangled and they both looked back to see who it was.

He saw a young lady with two men, whom he detected to be soldiers from their dressing, behind her. Immediately the girl saw Yoddal, her eyes and mouth widened.

"Princess..."

"Let me see you." Yoddal quickly interrupted the girl and walked away. The girl also followed her with the two soldiers.

Steve wondered where the soldiers were from since the uniform was unlike theirs and he also wondered, especially, the girl and Yoddal's reaction.

...

"What are you doing here?" Yoddal asked the girl on getting to a more secluded place. She made sure that her voice was low enough for the soldiers to not hear her even though where they were was a little farther from theirs.

"I was worried. You told me you would be back in three days with your beloved. It's already a week and you were yet to be back. His Majesty noticed that you were not causing any trouble and figured you were not in the Palace so he asked me about your whereabout. I tried to not tell him, I swear I tried not to but he is so scary and I was so worried and I could not help but tell him." She rambled.

Yoddal looked at her for a few minutes before saying, "Lilac, you betrayed my trust."

Lilac felt sad and she looked almost ready to cry. Yoddal did not bother with consoling her as she herself was so angry knowing that her brother will make her leave this Kingdom immediately he sees her.

She can't let that happen, not when she was already getting closer with Steve. "Do you think he will take me away once he finds me?" She asked her maid.

"You mean His Majesty?" Lilac asked Yoddal back.

"No, your uncle. Of course, His Majesty." Yoddal replied, being sarcastic at first.

"I don't know but I think he will. If only you had heard how menacing he sounded when asking those people about your whereabout, you would have been so scared also." A frown showing up on Lilac's face as she remembered what she was talking about.

"Must have been so bad."

"It was. Everyone is so scared of your brother while you were out here kissing some guy that... wait! Is that him?" Lilac asked.

Yoddal in turn nodded excitedly. Her face beaming with smiles.

Lilac also smiled happily, "Let's go. I want to see him." She pulled Yoddal to the direction she and Steve were before.

Yoddal dragged her back. "No. I don't want him to see you. He will ask for who you are and that might lead to him knowing my real identity."

"He does not know that you are a princess?" Lilac asked, surprised.

"Shhh." Yoddal placed her index finger on her lips, telling Lilac to be quiet before looking around to make sure no one heard her. Seeing no one except the two soldiers that were a little far from them, she turned back to Lilac.

"I don't want him to know." She said. "Why?" Lilac asked her, seeing no reason why her identity should be kept from him.

"He might not want to get involved with me. We both know my brother has quite the reputation and if he knows that I'm his sister, he might want to distance himself away from me. I do not want that to happen." Yoddal told her, her face creasing with worry.

"So when do you intend to tell him? You can not hide it from him forever, you know." Lilac asked, worrying with her mistress.

"One day. I'll tell him one day." She said.

Lilac sighed. "Okay. Well, tell me about the kiss. How was it. Did it feel nice? Tell me everything." Lilac inquired from her rather impatiently.

"It felt really good. It felt...felt...I don't know how to explain it. It awakened something deep in me." She said smiling as she remembered the kiss.

"He didn't really respond to it, but he must be shy. With time, he would get better." Yoddal assured her maid and herself.
