Cain went over to the first test, it seemed rather simple since all he had to do was punch. He wound back and punched with all the strength he could muster.
Bump*
"Ok, again" a man said that was standing on the side of a machine reading the results. he was the examiner
the machine barely even budged after the punch. His pride felt a little hurt as if the machine was saying he was too weak to move it. With anger beginning to overtake he punched even harder.
bump*
"Ok, last time" the examiner said.
With all the rage he built up he threw his whole body into the last punch. The machine still didn't even move it only shook.
Cain moved onto the next test where he had to hold the bar for 15 seconds. It was attached to the ground, so he readied his legs and began to pull up. The bar was extremely heavy he could barely get it to his waist.

time passed slow as his armed got sore.

By now his arms were extremely tired and all he wanted to do was let the bar go but he persisted.

His arms and legs were shaking, his arms felt as if they were about to be ripped off. Yet he still continued to hold the bar.

the last seconds felt like an eternity. The pain was excruciating But Cain continued to hold on.

'Almost done, I'm almost done.' Cain's mind was only focused on staying up.
14*
"Aaaaaaaahhhhhh" Cain roared out. sweat rolled down his forehead and down his arms

"Ok you can let go." The examiner said and Rein immediately fell to the ground with a huff.
"Wow, these tests are harder than expected." Rein said out of breath.
"Nothing important is easy in this world, son." Cormaxium said trying to inspire and teach Cain.
"Ok, now step into the scanner." The examiner said as he walked over and turned on the density scanner. Cain did as he said and stepped into the machine. A red laser grind swept through him up and down twice. Then he went to the scale, immediately after. The examiner marked the data for both and then he said the results.
"Your strength is at an Eighty-four, that's great for a seven-year-old. He really is your prodigy." The examiner complimented.
"My son has overperformed and over exceeded my expectations." Cormaxium said proudly. "Now onto the next tests Cain." He said while walking out to the field, through to large glass doors.
Outside many people around Cain's age were taking different running tests. "Ok go over there to do the mile sprint." the examiner said after coming out. He lined up with four other kids and he was in the very middle the kid to his right looked at him with a competitive gaze.
"I'm Lux, let's race" That was all the kid said and Cain nodded as he looked forward with a grin. The field was 400 meters, so they had they run 4 laps.
"Ready begin"
They all took off, Lux started faster than Cain, but he quickly caught up. The other three were all left in their dust. They were going at the same pace and after 15 seconds they both finished the 1st lap.
Cain sped up trying to get ahead but so did Lux 5 seconds later, they lapped the other three. another 8 seconds and he crossed the lap line again as did Lux. Cain tried going even faster to beat Lux. Yet he continued to maintain his tail.
"Now it's time to race!" Lux said as his muscles turned blue and silver. Then he blasted pass Cain, with a wicked grin on his face.
"You, think I would let you win." Rein roared and took off leaving deep shoe prints and cracks in the earth while he blasted forward, catching up and passing Lux. They ran side by side as they were about to finish the fourth lap. Both of them roared and used all their energy left to blast forward, causing the ground to break and form spikes behind their feet.
they were only 10 feet away from the finish line and each was gaining on the other back and forth. Then the last step across the finish line was made with a loud roar.
It was Cain who beat Lux by a foot. They both stopped out of breath with their hands on their knees.
"Wow, you're really fast." Lux said quickly regaining his breath.
"Thanks, your fast too, I thought you were gonna win." Cain told him as he got ready for the next test.
His examiner went to write down the results. The guy had a surprised look when he saw the machine's number.
"Impressive very impressive" Cormaxium said under his breath.
The next test was an endurance test how long can you run at full speed for. Rein began and after 30 seconds of running he felt only breezed. He passed the minute and a half mark and began to feel tired, but he kept going. He hit the 2:40 mark and was starting to sweat greatly. He imagined the giant tree creatures chasing him and only ran faster.
3:30 had passed and he was sweating terrible but still kept his same speed. His adrenaline was pumping to the max as he crossed the 4:20 point. All his veins were on fire all he could imagine was running and escaping that monstrous tree.
Finally, after 5 minutes he finally gave out and started slowing down, then he came to a stop.
"Wow your son is a shooting star, he is going to be strong." The examiner told Cormaxium with a hint of greed in his eyes.
"Yes, he is and will become even stronger." Cormaxium said resolutely.
Cain went on to the next test. It was a jump speed test, so his take-off and vertical jump height was tested.
So, the first jump he focused all his power on the last part touching the ground, which was he toes. his take-off was fast, but his height was 40 meters. Which any other person would think was good, but Cain thought it was average close to being too weak. His next jump used his whole foot to take off which made him go higher to 60 meters, but his take-off speed suffered a little. the last jump he did the same thing but put his full strength into the explosive power of his feet, causing the ground to crack under him.
He went a whole 70 meters, and his take-off speed was way better. 'I guess explosive speed is the best way to go.'
This was good and the examiner had been shocked so much that it hadn't even come as a surprise anymore. They moved on to the last test, which was a running take-off speed, this was pretty self-explanatory.
Cain had to test three times and all three times were pretty similar with his second being the best time he had. After this test the examiner looked over.
"A whole 106 in agility, that's outstanding for someone so young to be this fast you must train day and night." The examiner said while complimenting Cain, the control tests only had three parts.
They walked over to a floating white cube, it had runes on each side.
"This is a teaching moment Cain, these runes each have a different element and depending on what combination of runes lit up on the cube is what elements you can or already possess. Now pour your mana into the cube." Cormaxium explained to him and ordered him.
He poured a good amount of mana into the cube and at first nothing happened. 10 seconds passed and boom first every individual rune light up one time a time then the rune started flickering with different combinations 4 sometimes 5 runes activated at the same time.
"What, the hell" The examiner said after the cube's light show continued for a whole minute then finally came to an end.
"I've never seen such a reaction before. I've been through many examinations some were very weak, and some were very strong. But none had ever made the cube react in such a way. Kid I mean Prince Cain you are something special." The examiner said but Cain was paying no attention he was focused on the runes on the cube.
He studied each one to commit them to memory, since he could already remember each combination that shined. Before Cormaxium could comment, Cain asked "What does each rune mean, father."
"You want to know about runes at your age they are quite complex." Cormaxium said slightly stunned by his question.
